There’s just a general lack of confidence from top to bottom isn’t there. I’m sure we’ll get out of it but it’s sad given everything we’ve achieved recently.

So basically the issue is that the squad is all wrong. They’ve stacked the team with bowling all rounders but the trick is to have batting all rounders. Every time we’ve won the thing we’ve basically had batters that bowl down to 9/10. Claude is clearly to blame.

It’s odd that we used to glorify Lee’s image back in the day, but he’s an inspiring man and the fact he’s turned it around like he has is inspiring. There’ll be a lot us out there suffering in silence (me currently) and stories like Lee’s motivate a lot.

The Ukraine situation is about to turn into an utter mess, Ukraine have no American air defence left, Europe can’t afford to pay for it, Trump obviously won’t donate it, now Russia are telling diplomats to leave Kyiv. And Ukraine have started attacking Kaliningrad by drones (why not tbf), which basically means the Baltic states are using their air space to be used if they don’t shoot down Ukranian drones, which means Russia will say Baltics are attacking Russia, which means NATO v Russia which means radiation.

It’s kinda sado-masochist at this point. I love the humiliation.

Do agree that Alex Green needs some games, his white ball average is brilliant, has 3 fifers in 10 50 over games and is one of the only bowlers to test Sooryavishani over the last year. Has an extra yard of pace compared to Hull yet better control. Throw him in the deep end and see how he does. Hull will return but his confidence seems shot right now. Also please let’s not catastrophise. We will be ok.
