I liked Prometheus. I think a lot of peeps were disappointed because it is not Alien but it was not meant to be Alien but a story about where they, the ship and the pilot of that ship came to be there on LV 426. Seems the studio wanted it in parts though because it was made for sequels and the planet they were on was LV 226.

Idiots in cinemas. Was watching a movie last night, paid for a decent seat and just as the movie started three girls came in giggling, sat behind me after looking around for a nice place to sit so they had not paid for the better seats and put their feet resting on the back of the seats in front of them. kept feeling them kicking my seat, eventually i just turned around and glared at this stupid cow who realised she was really pissing me off and stopped, she was wearing a bherka or whatever you call them so i decided not to say anything incase they cried racism.

Talk Talk, been trying all week to alter my password for my account and all i get is a web page that either does nothing or the service is unavailable etc., Sometimes i do wonder why i stay with this shoddy internet provider, i'm only with them because they brought out Tiscali and they we're not exactly the greatest either.

Politicians and the two main political parties in this country. Neither are democratic, the poeples of other countries in the EU get to vote on important things, not here in the UK. Labour often took the country to war whilst ignoring the public and salami slicing the armed forces. The Conservatives come in and little has changed under Cameron and now the chinless wonder wants to remove workers rights in this country. Slime in suits is how i view the vast majority of them.

So that is a no then Super hero movies are not everyones cup of tea but the best ones have been the Marvel ones minus Hulk, Daredevil, Blade3, Electra. Xmen3, Iron Man2 and Spiderman3 were not very good but ok. DC have put out 2 good Batman movies recently and Dark Horses The Mask starring J.Carey was very good

So you watched them all then to Ah well variety is the spice of life.

Could not be more wrong, bar Iron Man 2 which was a bit of a mess all the current Marvel movies have been very good.

Just seen the Avengers, or Avengers Assemble as it is titled here. Enjoyed it and it was nice to see the Avengers given justice on the big screen. If you go to see it stay until the end of the main credits for the big reveal of the next films possible main bad guy, for those that have read the comics a certain mad titan

shame that most modern comedies try to be edgy, different etc., but most are not funny. Last really funny movie i saw was 'Dumb n' Dumber', though 'Theres Something about Mary' was decent

Just seen an advert for,.......Abraham Lincoln, Vampire hunter directed by Tim Burton. Coming out later this year.

Even if the season meanders to god knows where at least we should get the satisfaction of seeing either Coventry, Forest or maybe both go cheerio to the depths below.

Rewatched the old 1979 Salems Lot on youtube, recently brought it for £5 off Amazon. A little dated but still a great Stephen King horror to watch and better than the modern version.
