What's new is that we've never had a group of players that have put so little effort in before. Applauding a relegation or a defeat or a poor season would not be horrendous if the players had given their all, as they always have previously. Applauding a basic lack of effort and pride is just odd.

Applauding is being complicit. People generally applaud things because they are happy or appreciative of what they have seen. If the club does go bust, which is not beyond the realms of possibility, then the people who have openly applauded such incompetence and under performance are complicit. People who have attempted to protest and have shown their feelings towards the board and players can actually say they tried to bring about change at the club.

We must have one of the most passive fan bases in the country. No other fans would allow their club to be burnt to the ground unanswered. They believe they are "supporting" the club but are actually doing the opposite. You cannot applaud a group of players that have shown utter disdain to our club and fans. Win, lose or draw, id applaud the players if they had given their all. The stats dont lie. The highest paid players that covered the least ground, and couldn't even do the basics of getting themselves fit enough. Its beyond incompetence and is borderline sabotage from everyone at the club. That is not to be applauded and in doing so, it gives a free pass to everyone at the club to carry on with their destruction! This is not about "through the good times and the bad" or "always backing the lads" or being a "proper fan" its about trying to protect the actual future of the club and its beyond comprehension that so many cant see that. I don't want to associate myself with any of these people. I'm sure they are lovely people in their day to day lives but do not get on your high horse about being "real fans" when you clearly dont give 2 hoots about the club's long term sustainability!

To back the lads of course. In all seriousness, anyone attending or even watching on tele must have a really boring life. Id literally rather mow the lawn or hoover the house. I could think of 100s of things I'd rather do than watch either of our 2 remaining games. Unless of course people are attending to abuse the players and Top/Rudkin, then thats understandable

Its sad, as im sure many like me have said they've had enough, dont care and have become apathetic towards the club, but when relegation is confirmed like tonight, you realise you do care and it hurts. I don't care about Top or Rudkin or these vile players but I care about my club and this is genuinely sickening! Lowest I've ever felt in my 30+ years supporting Leicester. Aside from the horror relegation, the enjoyment of watching us has been ripped out of me. The excitement of a game. The build up, the teams announced, the game itself, the chats afterwards. Not the same, hasn't been for years and don't see it being again anytime soon. Heartbreaking

They haven't for the last 4 years so why would they start now? Once a clapper always a clapper and when the club goes bust they can stand outside the derelict stadium and continue clapping.
