  1. 34 games without a win for Sheff Wed....
  2. Sounds great on paper (or on a forum so to speak), but the reality is that a large part of our fanbase still support Top and his board of clowns. Some still cannot see past our PL title and FA Cup win. You can join Foxes Trust, BSLB, Foxes talk (insert any other KP hater here) but it doesn't mean shit when most of our fanbase still live by... "We were in league 1 once" "Be careful what you wish for" "Greatest owners ever" Unfortunately, many cannot see that the LCFC that was ran by Vichai, is not the LCFC that has been destroyed by Top. (Im aware that our fa cup win came after Vichai's death, but im a firm believer that it is was ridden on his coattails)
  3. Yep we could do with a draw between Oxford and Portsmouth and if we beat Sheff Wed, that moves us out of the relegation zone. We need to be beating Swansea and Portsmouth
  4. There are only 2 positives to be taken from yet another missed opportunity. 1. Daka scoring 2 goals could give him a bit of confidence. If he could get one or 2 more against Sheff Wed, he hopefully could have a little purple patch in the final games. 2. Other than Blackburn, nobody else around us won. We are running out of games though and these players have got to pull their fingers out and start playing to their full ability level. This league is shite and teams like Preston are utter fodder, so disappointing that we struggle to finish off such poor teams.
  5. He won't be our first choice next season, regardless of which league we are in. There are plenty of decent keepers around, even in league 1.
  6. Never seen the letters DOGSO used so much. Keith Laird would be getting a hard on.
  7. Looking at the fixtures, I feel Portsmouth and Oxford are the 2 most likely to save us. WBA have some winnable games. Alot will be decided on the remaining relegation battle fixtures each team has.
  8. On paper we should win our remaining games. On grass, I think we'll be lucky to win more than 3.
  9. Anything less than 6 points from the next 2 games and we're down. Wouldn't surprise me at all if we beat Preston and then lost to Sheff Wed. We are the absolute pits!
  10. This 100%. This side is miles better than the side we had when we last got relegated to league 1. Lack of tactics, poor management, lack of confidence has all contributed but the biggest contributing factor for this disgusting season, is purely and simply a lack effort, pride and professionalism from the highest paid squad in the league. For this reason alone, regardless of if we stay up, I dont want to see any of these players (other than the youth lads) here next season, but unfortunately they will be as nobody else will take them. The only player worth keeping isn't even our player.
  11. Yep it's shite right now but im sure none of us would trade our past
  12. It also isn't 10 years ago, as we were on the verge of winning the prem 10 years ago
  13. A lot can be said about Rodgers seemingly being allowed to throw our transfer strategy out the window. He was clearly given too much power and it seems we completely changed the way we did our business when he arrived. Our transfer strategy hasn't improved since he left either to be fair, and it does make you wonder how much influence managers have had on signings. Skipp and Ayew were completely against what we would have previously signed and seems like the kind of signings Cooper would have chosen. Brentford and Brighton and us years ago proved that with the right scouting network and recruitment strategy, you can be successful in the transfer market, even with PSR rules. We need to scrap everything we do currently and completely overhaul our recruitment team if we are to have any chance of rebuilding the club.
  14. That would be horrible. Shame hes had his career ruined by injury, hes a quality player on his day. Only thing I could see stopping him going there would be wages. He'll be on a huge wedge at Spurs and prob still has 2 years left on his deal. Possibly a loan with them paying 50% of his wages.
  15. For any people on here with dogs, Aldi have got these in stock which are classed as "outdoor dog toys".
  16. Hes shit, he shouldn't be playing. He shouldn't be taking pens as he has zero confidence. But we dont have any other strikers at the club. Ayew also missed a pen a few weeks back. Okoli, Thomas and Jakub have all given goals away and lost us points. Not one person is to blame for this mess, it's a collective fck up from board level to managers and coaches to the players. I just dont like this idea of pinning one penalty miss on a relegation.
  17. And why is that? Because he isnt good enough, as I've previously said. So why is he playing? Because the powers that be decided not to sign and actual striker. Hes crap, but hes not to blame for where we are.
  18. What about the 6 points Top and the board are responsible for? What about the fact we haven't signed a decent striker to replace Vardy? You're very naive if you believe Daka is to blame for us being where we are. Hes a terrible footballer and should not be in our team, but seeing as our amazing recruitment team and DOF didn't get us a striker, other than a kid from Chelsea that is clearly not good enough, we don't have much choice but to play him.
  19. I've not defended him. Hes a terrible footballer. But for someone to say "I hate this tw@t" is just harsh and unnecessary in my opinion. He got signed by us. He got offered the contract by us. Hes not going to turn around and go, sorry lads im not very good, so I'll just cancel my contract and be off. Nobody would ever do that. It hasn't worked for him here at all, but if people want to talk about "hatred" and "tw@ts" they should look at the people further up who a. Sanctioned signings like this and B. Didn't think it might be a good idea for us to sign an actual striker last summer or even in January, rather than loaning some kid from Chelsea whos clearly not good enough. Despite what some might say or think on here, Daka will not have caused our relegation if we go down. Rudkin and Top are responsible for at least 6 points this season (although id argue they are completely responsible for the whole mess), and whilst Daka could be blamed for us dropping 2 points yesterday, its not his fault we are where we are, regardless of how useless he is.
  20. Is he a good footballer? No. Is he a bad person, or have a bad attitude or act like a tw@t? No. Its fair to say hes a bad footballer but to say you "hate this tw@t" is just unnecessary. Everyone is frustrated, but if we go down, it certainly won't be because Daka missed a pen and a sitter against Watford.
  21. Harsh and unnecessary
  22. I think most of this league is dog shit, but at least with Lascelles, hes less likely to gift goals to the opposition than some of our other centre backs.
  23. Got to question why he would even be taking the penalty. Winks can take pens, as can Ricardo. Why put the pressure on a player who already has no confidence.
  24. Blackburn have some tough games left. They still have Coventry and Southampton plus Birmingham and Sheff U away. That pompey result today will have destroyed their confidence though
