Not against this signing as such but a 28 year old on a 4 year deal shows we haven't learnt much. Ideally would have been a loan with an obligation or 3 years. 1/2 year deals just dont generally happen but 4 years is alot if after 1/2 years hes not good enough and we want to get shut. Absolutely wild that anyone still defends this utter shambles. We've played 3 teams, that will more than likely get relegated this season, and got 2 points. 70%+ possession every game while not scoring is not acceptable. Most people knew when we hired Martin how this would go, and we are being proven right. Culture is the first thing. Get rid of all the bad eggs, both on and off the field, hire a proper recruitment team using data analysis, and fill the squad with pros rather than Chancers. You can keep sacking the manager every 6 months but until the root cause of our issues is addressed, every manager is on a hiding to nowhere.
