If my Nan had wheels, she’d have been a bike…

I dont think thats in doubt and we'll always have our name on the fa Cup, but Rodgers is a large reason as to why the club is where it is. He wasn't allowed to refresh the squad as hed already way overspent all budgets (can argue Rudkin shouldn't have allowed this to happen) and by the time he left, ffp failings and future points deductions were inevitable. We changed our whole transfer model for Rodgers and it has cost the club dearly. Nobody can deny he did a good job for a few years but at what cost? -
I think with certain people, they say and do things that wind people up but some are probably decent guys that you could have a pint a laugh with in the pub. Neil Warnock would be a prime example here as he has spent his career winding people up but away from football I imagine hes a really sound guy who you could have a laugh with. Sutton however comes across as a horrible bell end which id imagine hed also be the same away from football. I've never met him so don't have any actual evidence of what hes like outside of football but I can imagine him being an obnoxious pr1ck in all walks of life. Just seems like one of them people. Just my opinion however and he might actually be a nice guy.

Yeh he should just be employed by KP to feed the horses and muck out the stables.

Would he not be going with Enzo to Man City next summer? -
Never seen corruption like it. That's never been a pen in the memory of man

Maybe a trip to Thailand during monsoon season

To add to my original post, a couple of other slightly different things for me were being at games and not being able to celebrate goals as I was sat in the opposition end. Great escape season at Burnley, me and nephew sat with burnley fans pretending to be gutted when they missed the pen then next minute vardy scores and our fans opposite us go wild while me and my nephew are sat on our hands hoping to not get battered. Also at Burnley 2019, Morgan scored a 90th minute winner and again, absolute carnage in the away end while me and my nephew sat on our hands again. Has put me off sitting in the opposition end for games as its Just not right to not celebrate when your team score.

What goals in games you were at have you missed for varying reasons? Or what games have that you had tickets for you have missed? Im not talking about this season where people missed games cos they couldn't be arsed, im talking traffic jams, trains/flights cancelled, car broke down etc. My first ever game at Filbert street was my 11th birthday, 3-3 draw against Arsenal and I missed Walsh's late equaliser as my dad made us leave early cos we were losing. Never forgave him for that. 4-0 win a pride park 1998, missed the first goal as we were late into the ground. York fa cup match 2001, missed the whole game as me and my dad were stuck in traffic on the m6 (we live in the north West). Nov 98 1-1 draw with Coventry away. Totally missed that Sinclair had been sent off and was sat getting frustrated next to my dad wondering why we were playing so poorly against Coventry. Just thought hed been subbed off. My Chris Kamara moment 😂

What's Preki up to these days?

The point you've made about not being able to back the players or the board is spot on. Most of these players have been a disgrace this season and regardless of how poorly the club is being run, that does not mean they can just toss it off while taking their obscene wages and sticking 2 fingers up to the crowd. I have a mate whos a Wednesday fan and I said to him, whilst the plight of your club has been awful, and the results this season have been poor the one thing they have had is the players fighting for the club. Most of them aren't good enough for the championship but at least they were all giving 100% in what was a very turbulent time at the club. Fans will always back players if they give 100%, even if they aren't very good. We were in a similar situation last time we went down to league 1 where we had financial issues and a fair few of our players weren't quite good enough for the championship but they gave their all but we went down. This season is just unfathomable how this group of players basically finished bottom of the league when you discount Wednesday who had a huge points deduction.

I wouldn't fancy us against Stockport but Stevenage are a terrible side. My step dad is a sth at Wigan and he said they are by far the worst team they played this season.

Play On The Pitch Returns To King Power Stadium

Will there be tickets available for this? Asking for a friend who wants to bring his clapper and flask. -
In the title winning season, Vardy, Kante and Mahrez were all playing at a World class level. In their respective positions that season, not many players in the world were better than them!
-
Oh I completely agree. But what the club needs to do and what our owner and board will do, are more than likely very different.
-
We won't pay for any manager anyway as we don't have a pot to piss in. We will only get someone who doesn't currently have a club.
-
Skubala wouldn't come here and isn't available. We wont be paying for a new manager

Think its harsh for people to be slating Monga or any of the youth lads. Aside from the fact they are kids, they have no senior pros to look up to, respect or learn from and no decent coaches to help them fine tune their game. Whilst our academy coaches have done a good job developing the lads through the academy, our senior coaches and players have been dreadful and have not aided any of our youth lads development at all. If Monga had a coach like Maresca to really drill him and start to fine tune his game, we would see a totally different player. Its sad that we have arguably the most exciting group of academy lads we've ever had and we most likely won't see their full potential here as they will either leave or fail to develop because the club is rotten.

The new kasabian song is class and lyrics quite fitting. The Great Pretender. Time for me to surrender. Sounds familiar.

EFL Trophy, we're coming for you!

Some absolute piss takers on here. Anything other than 'go' for every option is just utterly ridiculous!

That white kit is nice to be fair.
