Individual happens occur more often when players are not well coached and don’t have a clear idea of the tactical plan for the game. I get the sense that Cooper is not very engaged with our squad during the week.
-
Anyone with some common sense knows that a trophy/promotion parade is neither the time nor the place to ask Vardy or any player about contract negotiations. Still, it was harsh for him to be sacked. I do hope he’s doing well and lands on his feet.

I had my suspicions about @Ric Flair’s Who Are Ya? performances during his early days on the pod but after having a meal with him (and his well-documented IBS) at Paddy’s Marten Inn and seeing the updates on his half-marathon training, I can say with total assurance that this man faces danger head-on and refuses any shortcut to glory.

Love it but I’m going to shed a tear every time I hear this and remember we don’t have a purchase clause for him.

Was that when we won 6 of our first 7 league games and had a clear identity that everyone could see? Enzo’s style wasn’t for everyone but let’s not make up stories just because you don’t want to let yourself believe you deserve better than Steve Cooper.
-
We conducted the last manager search (which really did not seem very expansive) when we were faced with a looming points deduction. The pool of managers who would consider us has now dramatically expanded.
-
Do you honestly see a future with Steve Cooper at the helm? Do you not think there are better managers available to us?

Great to see you! Will keep in touch and send the photos.

Ricardo and Fatawu or we riot.

Sure but nothing close to the level you’d find in America. Try to even find one half-decent Mexican restaurant. Could you casually meet a Peruvian at any time? I’m not trying to be a dick about this, I swear. 😂 You might find one restaurant if you searched hard enough and wanted to travel. I could take you to several Peruvian neighborhoods here and you can try 15 Peruvian restaurants before dinnertime today. Actually, that sounds like a pretty damn good way to spend a day, now that I think about it. 😂 As a percentage, it’s slightly smaller, yes. But as a number, the USA’s population is about 5x higher, and that’s not to mention the astronomical number of people who are second and third generation. I’m going to leave it here. If anyone on the thread is coming over to NY for any of the tournaments or any other time, send me a note, I’d love to meet up— yes, even with you, @Finnegan !😜😜

I need to get back to New Orleans, you’ve just confirmed it.

Christ, man, you made the point you absolutely had to make about American food on a thread about sporting events in America. 😂 There can never be a thread on here that mentions the States without someone dying for any opportunity to get something off their chest. I shouldn’t, but I’m going to step in (politely). America is a f***ing continent. Sure, there are loads of shit here. But there’s a ridiculous range of food in this country (plenty of which is produced here and shipped around the world), which includes contributions from immigrant communities and melting pots well beyond the scope of what’s seen across England. That’s not a dig, that’s just geography, the sheer size of each country and its major urban areas, and how each country built up its respective population. I’ve been to England many, many times; I’ve also been all over America via NYC. Absolutely nobody from New York, New Orleans, Chicago, San Francisco would agree with what you said because those places are all pretty much countries within the country and there’s no excuse to have shit food there. Talking down about food in other parts of America wouldn’t really mean anything to someone born and raised in places like Brooklyn, NY or the Marigny in N.O.. Each of those cities I mentioned is filled with options (take-out, grocery, casual, fine) and quality that just don’t exist in England. And that’s OK! Plenty of other places in America don’t stack up against what you have, and then there are also places in The States that are nothing but embarrassing chains and crap. And I can’t get a pint of Tiger ANYWHERE in the United States, which is a MAJOR point on the board for England (specifically Leicester!). I’ll also happily share that I’m still dreaming of the last curry I had in Leicester. And I f***ing love Greggs and would kill for one over here. There’s also plenty of other great food throughout England and the rest of the UK that stands on its own. And when people sneer at the worst of the worst, it’s because they know they’ll get create outrage and engagement on the Internet. People from both sides of the pond do it to each other, it gets clicks and comments because people cannot help but to fall into those traps and react. Now, back to the discussion about tournaments. 😂 Who’s coming over for the World Cup? You can see for yourself!

Excellent work again, @Union FS , the only transparent entity around the club these days.

Thank you, my man! I guess the tweets aren’t so private anymore! 😂 @L1neker08 the group would be happy to have you come down, just bring yourself and anyone you’re with. (Btw, the downstairs bar is 21+ in case you are over with family. They do allow families upstairs in the restaurant area). We usually have folks in from Leicester, so who knows, you just might bump into someone who lives down the road— it’s happened before!

@Dr The Singh was the King of Punjab when he was over

NY Foxes will be at Football Factory as mentioned by the kind folks in the thread, come on down

@KFS was only there for the Leeds fans anyway

We scored two goals and got back in the game but I don’t think we played much better in the second half against Arsenal. We conceded 23 shot attempts (11 on target) and 11 corners in that half alone. And even when we get into games, Cooper’s subs can be baffling and ruin the effort put into keeping competitive. How we start games definitely concerns me and makes me wonder if Cooper isn’t engaging with the team during the week. Hermansen called it correctly after the game, that performance and that effort weren’t good enough, no matter who the opponent was.
-
We’re conceding an average of 2 goals per game both expected and actual. Not a good recipe for success when you have to score 2 goals to get a point or 3 to get a win. Something needs to change, and quickly.
-
Not a single person is suggesting anything you have written and you just keep going on and on with the same posts. You’re either having reading comprehension issues or you’re just refusing to get the point.

328 days since Cooper’s last PL win.

Pinned just to annoy Colin Hall
-
As if his football isn’t horrible enough, he’s determined to turn us into Forest with his constant whining about the referees.
-
Say we keep Cooper, what does the future look like under him? I’m struggling to see how he takes us anywhere near where we want to be as a club. Does anyone here really want to see Jordan Ayew appearing in every game for us next season?

You used a hypothetical that is completely incomparable. Two completely different players on opposite ends of their careers. Fatawu would deserve patience because we know he hasn’t yet touched his ceiling. BDCR wouldn’t because he’s past his peak, which was much lower than what Fatawu has yet to achieve.
