  1. It would take a lot for the club to regain my past enthusiasm. With even a decent season in the Championship I can’t get too excited about us beating the likes of QPR and Stoke (which might not happen anyway) when we really should never have been in such a mess to suffer two relegations. I also can’t be arsed cheering and showing my appreciation for players who may shine playing the lower standards of opposition in the Championship but could barely turn up in the Premier League. Being in the top division isn’t the be all and end all and I could take relegation if we had made decent off field decisions and shown some fight and ability on the pitch. It’s more how we have come to be a second tier team that really pisses me off.
  2. Is the plan to abolish income tax in the US with the money coming in from tariffs Higher prices for the American consumer but lower taxes so possibly a quid pro quo ? I've no idea about the economics of these things but know that Trump repeatedly harks back to the era of high tariffs with no income tax
  3. Making Steve Cooper look an elite manager. That takes some doing
  4. I've enjoyed some of Wes Anderson's stuff (eg Grand Budapest Hotel) but Asteroid City was just a load of toss
  5. Wordle 1,384 6/6 ⬛⬛⬛⬛🟨 ⬛🟨🟨🟨⬛ 🟩⬛🟩🟩🟩 🟩⬛🟩🟩🟩 🟩⬛🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 It has been statistically proven when all that remains is one of a number of possibilities that I always the choose the correct alternative last 🥸
  6. RvN is just shrugging his shoulders and picking up his paycheck knowing that this group of players are far short of what is required in their ability and mentality
  7. That display was a great advert for ST sales. I'll take 10 please
  8. And a sneak preview at the introduction to next years’ release Leicester City Football Club today publishes its annual accounts for the period ending 30 June 2025. After one consecutive season of Premier League football, our only year back in the top flight for the next decade had a marked catastrophic impact on future revenues. An absolute shit show regarding contracts, player and manager recruitment and a lack of leadership, transparency and accountability from those responsible for the running and direction of Leicester City has led to the club not having a pot to piss in for the foreseeable future. This total balls up has enabled the club to achieve an immediate return to the Championship where we hope and pray that it will be able to remain without experiencing a further relegation.
  9. Do you think I should also avoid buying the new LCFC celebrating the return to the championship branded onesie as well 🤔
  10. Rooney should come with mandatory subtitles
  11. This has been ok entertainment wise for a 0-0 Some good individual skill and passages of play - the sort of stuff you don't see too much of at the KP along with a goalless 90 minutes
  12. Too much cash. Not enough pride
  13. Kinky bastard
  14. Tbf, shagging or trying to shag junior staff, freeloading and getting pissed on corporate freebies and being paid ridiculous amounts of money and not knowing how to spend it all can be very stressful
  15. If a story was published about Rudkin being discovered with billy the goat in the showers at Seagrave he would still be DoF at the start of next season
  16. Boycott US goods. They're no friend of ours
  17. Still, better than a case of Nobby Stiles
  18. Trevor Benjamin - another goal machine we signed
  19. Must be early onset dementia
  20. Mark de Vries was another turkey but I still fondly remember his goals (I think there were two) in the f.a. cup win over Spurs
  21. And nonetheless, still absolute doggo
  22. In effect perhaps but in intent no
  23. Wherever you look, both on and off the pitch, all you see paints a very poor picture of the club Bad times indeed
  24. It's a firm no to Southgate from me. The bloke is too strongly opposed to the well established training regimes at Seagrave to make it work
