The only time I ever left a game early was when I needed to purchase tickets for the Notts County ZDS cup in 91. A game that will live in my memory right up there with the. Fa cup win and title. And a game that will hopefully make many of our younger fans understand that great moments can come at any level. standing on a crumbling open terrace with the rain pouring down can still be fun.

Can you see why? I can’t and that’s the problem with our crap fans. We don’t deserve anything else.

At 1-1 hundreds of fans leaving early. We are a joke. We don’t deserve to be in the premiership with fans like ours. Went 2-1 down and half the fans had gone when the penalty decision happened. We are fighting for our survival. The players and the club need us more than ever. Bring on the championship… new players. new manager and hopefully a new set of fans. Another thing of note is how many people in the family stand are filming the away fans celebrating.

Yes kids… there were days when drums, clappers, honesty flags and children in black t shirts were not needed.

When that drum was brought to L1 what little atmosphere there was in the ground went. Jobber has a great deal to answer for. No drum was ever needed.
