Bit of a question for anyone who sits near the dugout. Got to be honest I had a bit of a moan today at Brendan’s lack of intent after we went a goal down, set up, lack of subs early on, Barnes and sadly Thomas’s total lack of anything and the peculiar decision to have Castagne on the bench… if he’s fit enough for the bench, he’s fit enough to start and then take him off if he’s suffering. The vast majority of fans around me were the same. So the question is… if you are a fan anywhere in earshot of Brendan, is there any discontent, any comments directed towards the manager? genuine question. Just interested to know.

Those different perceptions on atmosphere always make me chuckle… could not hear the sk1 at all in the family stand and Man U as per usual sang the whole game.

Remember under Puel’s reign I kept on thinking it’s the manager, surely it’s the manager, the players are brilliant. Then towards the end I started to think the players weren’t as good as I thought. Then Rodgers came in and I reverted back to Puel being crap. Under Rodgers we have clearly played the best/most entertaining football in my lifetime -50 years. Then towards the end of those 2 fantastic 5th place finishes we played some of the most negative/predictable football I have ever seen. Then that style has stuck with us and we’ve continued with it. The injuries came, Covid meant we couldn’t spend our way out of it and when we did we bought crap and the defence crumbled. Worst still the manager started blaming everyone but himself. Used words like intensity - as Puel did- and passive every week and could do nothing about it. Now we have a manager who really doesn’t look like he wants to be here. A football team where we can predict what happens in every game. As for the team I don’t think it’s the question I asked under Puel. I think every fan knows that Maddison, KDH and Castagne are the only consistent performers at the moment. After that there is a large group out of form or very inconsistent - which come as know surprise with the clear lack of leadership of the pitch. And there are players who are just not good enough and we all know who they are. Sadly, the only answer is for Rodgers to go…sometimes I have thought he could turn it around… but I don’t know if he has the motivation to do so anymore

That older generation made a lot more noise than you probably when they were younger… didn’t need a drum, clappers of a little group of black t shirts flag wavers. And probably respected their elders as well jog on

So the keyboard fans on here who don’t go to the game take the piss out of the real fans who make the long journey up to Stockport on a Tuesday night… classic Leicester.
