I felt we looked tired yesterday, more with our speed of thought than physicality even. Our play relies massively on concentration and alertness and today a few were not at that level. Strangely Ricardo and Kiernan dropped some levels and when they’re not on it the engine room is malfunctioning and goes from sports car to tractor.

We’ll be OK. One of those days. This is just a gentle reminder that if we just turn up it’s not enough. Chill, and trust Enzo will get it right next week. I think there may be a surprise selection maybe Alves?

I think a total of 95 will get automatic promotion. I would guess Southampton, Leeds and Ipswich will all reach 90 or low 90s and we’ll get low 100s. the gap down to fifth could be over 20 points. Don’t forget 3 out of the top 4 are still in the FA Cup and I wonder whether that will have some effect. For that reason I think Ipswich may still be favourites for second.

Yes agree. He played well forward in the first half and was a good outlet but never really broke the line or had a shot when there was a sniff of an opportunity. He had a great chance to score very early in the second half but elected to try and pass to Vardy instead and over hit it. After that he melted, lost a few one on one challenges and drifted out of the game. I felt Enzo should have subbed him on 60 not 78 minutes as we lost hold of the midfield. He’s neat and tidy enough but for me is some way below Wilf even at this level.

Having gone to the KP on Tuesday, my first time since 2022, that’s one concern I do have. Well two really, how ineffective we seem to be at both free kicks and corners.

Tricky game, I think we’ll edge it 2-1. Similar team to Tuesday night, maybe rest Justin. Perhaps replace Pratt who’s neat but a little lightweight and bring Daka back in.

We did a great job last night in a similar fashion to Ranieri and our run of 1-0s in the Premiership win. Just doing enough and saving energy.

There were shades of Southampton away 9-0 watching this game only Stoke had 11 on the pitch. A really great away day even if I was in the Stoke end. Hopefully this will ease the Enzo sores from last week, though I’m not sure he’ll forget them.

The top four are already clear of the rest in this league. So 2 from four in a fight to the end. I think it’ll be us and Southampton with Leeds and Ipswich in the playoffs. I think Ipswich sadly will miss out completely after what will be a great season for them.

To be fair they were no great shakes, but let's face it we couldn't ask for much more. I just think this level of quality we face in this league is not preparing us too well for next season. I can't believe the last time Pearson's side won the championship the level of quality was as poor as this.
