Their subs had time to get up to speed. We’re rarely effective once we have made them. Shows Enzo is more of a safety first manager for me. Our defence overall is a little too brittle for that and our mentally not quite up to it.

How come not one of the average clubs in this league could do us a favour ffs sunderland, cardiff, wednesday, blackburn etc. . This is a low standard league for sure. There are 6 or 7 reasonable teams but the rest are fodder

I won’t have a go at Enzo because he’s done brilliantly all season but I think he’ll look back and admit to some serious judgement errors today. There were shades of Rodgers stubbornness thinking we would hang on without posing any threat. Just 2 subs when you’re down to 10 away from home is not wise, taking away your one remaining threat at half time. Seemed wrong at the time and was proven so. Pressure back on next Monday night.

They deserved it sadly. We were poor all round. Hopefully some lessons learned. Let’s move on.
