  1. Loss on pens incoming I fear. I can’t see us beating them even with better players in. Think youngsters may bottle pens too.
  2. Be thankful it’s not Luke Thomas up front
  3. He definitely improved us when we were struggling and he had a decent eye for goal. If we had a few players with half of his spirit we’d be better off than now. 7 for me.
  4. See Ndidi and Lookman on the scoresheet for Nigeria in the AFCON and Lookman with two further assists in their 3-2 win. Has there been a club that has released so many players for relatively little in return, who have gone on to much better success since? Barnes, Tielemans, Ademola, Wilf, Cengiz Under, the GOAT even Edouard ffs whereas the club itself and its staff has withered and deteriorated like a bowl of rotting fruit.
  5. Ah McLintock, now that was bad. We were way off it then. He signed a bunch of his old London pals, long past their best like George Armstrong, Eddie Kelly, Dave Webb and Roger Davies (ex Rams) and despite still having Keith Weller we were awful. In a strange way some similarities with the signings of Jordan Ayew and Bobby D, being past their best and way off the standard’s needed.
  6. Really good post Claudio that sums up many of the feelings and thoughts I have. I’ve been following the club for a similar length of time and I’ve never felt more detached or more frustrated by what’s happening. The symptoms of poor performances, lack of fight in the team, ignoring the fans, failure in communication or inclusion are systemic from a rotten and rudderless leadership who have forgotten what a football club is all about.
  7. apart from us fans mate!!!
  8. We're turning the KP into a bloody gift shop. A team can turn up and you can take away 3 points literally for free. How can the team (players and manager) think that's a show worth turning up to? Disgrace is too polite a word.
  9. Think the team christmas pud had a load of bromine in it. As flat and uninspiring a performance this tiem of year as I have seen in my memory.
  10. Needs to go now. Players are a difficult lot to inspire I agree, but I am sure there are others who can get a better tune out of this lot than this guy.
  11. I am afraid we need to get rid of this manager, no inspiration and no clear way of playing other than crap possession for a team who cant keep the ball.
  12. Put Kingy in charge,. Let’s write off this season so there’s no pressure, let him get the results we may need to get to 19th or 20th with the deduction. Then for lords sake hope there’s a proper summer clear out of the board and overpaid journeymen and we can start rebuilding properly with people in to support and advise him.
  13. As limp performances go, today’s was worse than England’s hapless attempt to play Australia in the Ashes. Losing virtually every session and lacking much fight, quality and courage. Leicester are a hopeless shambles of a team even in this league now. Didn’t we at least beat their reserves 6-2 i. the cup last season? We’re as vulnerable and as brittle as my nan carrying a Ming vase.up a rickety stair case. The club are reaching new depths, every week now failing to pay staff. Who’s in charge of this runaway train? Next 3 games? Let me see Watford, a loss,, Derby to return to get revenge and a proper pummelling from a rampant Sheffield United. Merry Christmas
  14. I did wonder at half time whether we could go five at the back then. When we got the second goal just before half time we were already losing our grip. Bringing on Daka was a waste because we never had the ball to release him.
  15. Yes you’re spot on. We’re actually in a worse position now than when King Power took over because of a catalogue of poor decisions over the last few years. I lived the good times of course and I’m thankful but it should never have got this bad given the successes.
  16. You may be right and that is the easiest short term solution cos we’re not going to get rid of a load of worthless players very easily. I think we should just aim not to get relegated with the points deduction coming. More or less write off this rotten season and start to put some promising youngsters into position for the remainder. Sunderland did pretty well wih the youngest squad in the division last year. Look where they are…
  17. I did wonder why we let Woyo Coulibally, who looked half decent, go. Makes you wonder why he was our solo signing last January. So many things at this club that you can’t fathom.
  18. I’d say that’s a little like sacking the cabin boy for the Titanic sinking in the first place. You’d replace him with someone with similar competence and the results are not going to change.
  19. I’d venture there were 11 players who you could add to that accusation.
  20. We’d have been better off if he’d put a hippo up front instead of Patson.
  21. I’m guessing it must have been an injury unless for some oddball reason he thought we’d hold on and be able to save our best player for Ipswich.
  22. Did you mean Farage or Fatawu’s recent form?
  23. “not just making the manager the scapegoat”. Why would we expect anything else? They’ve done that to the last two managers.
  24. Agree, but there’s no way the jokers who run this club will see that. I doubt Aiyawatt would have been there, he’d probably think it’s a point gained and be patting Marti McFly on the back.
  25. Not much by the look of it.
