It depends on the shoe itself but I think you are getting there. Stick your hand in them and feel where your toes land, how much cushion is still in them? Then check the bottom, much sign of wear? Ive got some ASICS Superblast 2s with 500 miles in them which are still going strong but are showing signs of damage now.

Random question, has anyone ever had a hernia in their groin? How prominent/painful was it? For about 6 years, I’ve had issues on and off. Recently it gets quite soft during and after long runs and I can feel a small bump there but I’m not sure if this is just muscle or a tendon.
