I’m probably going to get pelters for this and it isn’t a ‘be careful what you wish for’ comment , but the only thing that stopped me short of submitting this survey, was the lack of a caveat for a Saudi/Chansiri type owner being that one that takes us over. I had completely filled the survey out expressing my dissatisfaction for the ownership but that question really made me think about how the trust should be very clear in its communication on what we want our future ownership to look like. Whether beggars can be choosers is a whole other thing entirely. I hope that makes sense and you understand what I mean.

For me being extremely sceptical and maybe putting 2+2 together and getting 5, that’s the same conclusion I’ve come to. Who looks at our finances and thinks they want to oversee what is coming.

Similar was said about Whelan wasn’t it when people suggested we got rid of the wrong one, but I still maintain that if you are in a position at work which is being undermined by the senior leaders and this is going to look like you’ve made multiple serious errors, you would probably look elsewhere.

I left a company I was working for for a similar amount of time in October but mine was through redundancy (which I wanted), what I would say is that if you do leave and care about the people, make sure you keep in touch with them and make the effort. I was completely trapped in my comfort zone but sometimes that is a good thing. Leaving worked out well for me but that was down to the big redundancy payment and the financial freedom that gave me, my new job is quite stressful so I would say to just make sure you are doing it for the right reasons.

Got home from Italy and went straight out to run a 30k PB. Sports science in the mud, Rowatt needs to get them ***** on Foccacia and Aperol until the end of the season.

Sitting in Bergamo airport next to a departure gate and a family of 10 rock up at the gate after it’s closed and start kicking off. The lady working on the gate gives them an absolute gob full saying it’s their own fault and the time to arrive is clearly written on their boarding card, locks up and walks off leaving them stranded with no other flight to Belgrade for 24 hours. Absolute scenes 😂

As far as the match, both teams missed a lot of chances and it felt inevitable that Milan would do that. Cremonese looked poor once Vardy left the field. Not a chance will/should he retire if they drop.

Went to this game today, would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who fancies it. Stopped in the hotel next to the stadium that the players stay in, met Vardy at the bottom of the lift, had a picture and both got in different lifts. I get to the floor I’m stopping on, turn the corner and guess who is entering the room next to me… 😂

The standard there isn’t great, but I saw him in the flesh for Atalanta and he is a different player.

It’s a funny one, and while I don’t disagree with what you are saying, would you be happy with the last 10 years of Lincoln City? And will that model ever see them punching about their weight in the Premier League? I’d say they will have to get lucky. It’s being talked about on here like if we adopted this model we would be fine, but whichever model you choose you have to be good at and we wouldn’t be. I think the reality is you need to get lucky, be aligned from top to bottom and switch it up at the right times- look at Sunderland.
