I need to see something from him that makes me think that he will make the grade over here. So far I've seen nothing. Physically he's off the mark and I feel his play is far to cautious. I've never seen him play a pass and make the space to recieve it back. At this point he's an average Championship player and the bottom line Premier league I think not.

The game is going as expected and I wouldn't say we are playing shi.te. playing keep ball waiting for an opportunity. I would say it's going to plan.

We needed to pack our midfield and yes Hamza was an obvious choice. Why we didn't just do in the last 15 minutes what teams have done to us is beyond me. Just sit deep put up a brick wall and see the game out. There were holes for Ipswich to exploit all over the place.

Other than Leeds every team we've played at home have come with the same plan, six across the back, sit deep and limit the space, Millwall were no different. What pleases me is that we are finding ways of counteracting this as we did in the second half yesterday. When you look at it 3-2 seems like a close game, but it wasn't we were clearly better and had Millwall played more of an open game then we could and would've probably scored six. They were never going to win this game whatever. So the scoreline doesn't really bother me. As for Cannon 30 minutes is no time to judge him, he looks the part and given a chance he will become a useful acquisition.
