I think the vouchers are actually ticketing vouchers. More akin to a credit note for purchase of future tickets. I'm quite sure they operate 2 different gift voucher schemes, 1 for tickets and another for merchandise. You can actually purchase a specific gift voucher to buy tickets only (home or away) My sister sometimes gets me some for Christmas as it helps my marriage stay on track, particularly during the fixture pile up! 😂 -
Ah yes, forgot to update. Got an email from the seller saying that JD Sports had cancelled his order. But if a weird one. Obviously selling them on before they've arrived.
-
I always park on Cherry Lane too. Usually plenty of space and fairly quick getaway afterwards.
-
Exactly what I thought 😂

Yeah, I've taken a punt really. Does look a bit sus but thought I'd give it a go. I'll post on here whether it's genuine or not.

Of anybody is still after a Cup Final Shirt. I've just bought one on ebay. Should be legit (he says he bought from JD Sports) think there are 5 left at £25.

I've managed to move a few times. Usually when I'm able to get my son a ticket later on. Its worth a try. I'll trawl through my emails and see if I've got a direct contact that was particularly helpful. If I have I'll dm it to you.

In my case the 28 days had passed. In fact other more recent purchases had gone on. It didn't help that my son asked on EVERY SINGLE one of those 28 days if his points had gone on. The manager said something about a few accounts being affected by points not being credited.
-
Yes. My son had this issue with his. Emailed in and said they'd sorted it but went to pay and they said he had none. Manager came over and sorted eventually but it was a bit of a palava tbh.

Me too, even though my son is one of them ffs 😂

I know you'll see it from a professional angle as well as a fan. But I just hate it. I will concede that it may be the overuse of it more than the commentary itself. But I still hate it! -

Agueeeeeeeeeeeeroooooooo! I know it was only once, but makes me want to vom. Talk about trying to get yourself in the history books with iconic piece of commentary. Horrid! -

"the football club" Just say club or X team. "field of play" it's just a pitch ain't it? Maybe whilst the games in progress it's a field of play, it just irritates me. Makes then sound like they're trying to be clever. -
Leeds away (Sunday 7th November 14:00 KO)

I have an upper adult for my 8 Yr old with mine being in lower as I bought his later. So ideally be better if they're both lower (obvs I'll stand him with me anyway, I'm not letting him sit on his own!) The only thing is it's one of those restricted view ones so don't know if that's any good to you? -
-
Sure you're correct. It was the third shirt that spanned the 99-00 & 00-01 seasons. We didn't go full Le Coq until the beginning of 00-01. It was that awful yellow kit. I've just taken a photo of mine bit it's too large to upload. Probably for the best tbh!

Away Priority System - Discussion Thread
ianormondroyd replied to Hollism's topic in Ticket News and Travel
I think the other thing is; you can have a child, like mine that goes to practically every away game, but a season ticket holder who has been to a handful in a 7/8 Yr period suddenly decides they quite fancy a new ground or important game can buy one before some that travel all over. This system seems to alienate younger fans. Don't get me wrong, for 7 years old my son does well, he's only a few short of the whole Premier league along with a load of others he's been to. But he struggled for Norwich, so I used my dad's season ticket to beat the scramble, he won't be going to Brentford and I envisage a struggle for a few others too. If it was just away points for away games he'd have good priority as he'd have been rewarded for going to away games. Annoyingly, he still wouldn't have the prioirtiy he should have as I'm buying tickets from others to get him there. More often than not at adult prices. Then some on here come out with stuff about going to the less glamorous games to build priority. He does them all. -
I'll be parking at Stanmore Station, then down to London Bridge on the Jubilee Line. Think the car park is £6. Only problem is if its full when you get there. You may be able to park in the street on Jesmond Way (general area) However, its probably a 10 min walk to the station from there and you may come back to a car with a missing door mirror.

Away Priority System - Discussion Thread
ianormondroyd replied to Hollism's topic in Ticket News and Travel
I suppose Brentford is not the best example. However, I do feel my point stands. Why are season ticket holders given 50 away priority points each year? Away priority points should be just that. Maybe they should be added to the home priority points incase a cup final comes around. That is probably the only time a home priority or 'length of time holding a season ticket' would need to be considered. -
Away Priority System - Discussion Thread

I don't really understand the whole 50 points per season for having a season ticket really. An example; my dad who doesn't go to away games has 311 points (I've used it to get my son tickets in the past, which is where the 11 comes from) My son aged 7 got his first season ticket this year which has actually made it more difficult to get him tickets as he doesn't have the members ballot anymore. It's fine for me on 540 points but for my son who is nearly 8 I've had to make my daughter a member to apply for tickets for him, or I buy on my dad's if it gets that far, or i try and get one on here. My son goes to pretty much every away game aside from midweek far away ones. Games like Brentford, he doesn't stand a chance because he doesn't have many points, yet, he's been to probably 40 away games over 2 and a half seasons. It's okay for the holier than thou brigade with their "go to the less glamorous games then you'll build your priority up" But it isn't really practical taking a 7 Yr old away to Millwall on a Weds night 😂 To be honest he's already earnt the chance to be at games like Brentford but he gets taken out of the queue by people who don't go to as many aways but can get a ticket simply by virtue of being older. All this said, if anybody hears of a spare Brentford ticket, let me know, thanks in advance 👍😂
