  1. 3 hrs 11 mins. That's the one I've booked. Also worth noting, if you miss it you can get on anything up to 4 hrs after the departure of the train you missed.
  2. I'm on the 8.15 to pisa from Stansted. I booked last week. However my friend booked today and he has Stansted to pisa Thurs morning and naples back to Stansted Friday morning with Ryanair for £100
  3. Took my 8 Yr old to Eindhoven. Even though he goes to pretty much all domestic away games, he's STILL buzzing after this one. I wonder if anything will ever surpass it for him!!! So certainly worth taking him of you've got the opportunity.
  4. I am on your flight out of Stansted. Already booked train for 3 of us though!
  5. Drive to Cockfosters and park there. You can park in the estate nr the Co op if the car park is full. Then tube to Finsbury Park and change for Seven Sisters is one option You could use Stanmore but the tube journey is longer. Having said that the drive is shorter. If the car park is full at Stanmore you can find some on street parking but there is much less of it and it's further away from the station.
  6. Got a hotel near to Termini. There's 3 of us, 2 in one room and me on my own. If it was just me I'd probably just have hung around tbh
  7. I'm on that train. Think our flight is 11:10 though
  8. Yes, my sons ST is under 8, but, as he's now 8 I have to ring up. Not the end of the world, but like you say it just cuts you off. Bit annoying!
  9. I agree with this. My 8 Yr old son only got his season ticket this year. But goes to nearly all away games. He misses out though in games like forest as someone who has attended 15 away games over the last 8 years jumps the queue. He does that many in one season, if not more. Thankfully, he is coming with me to Eindhoven. Also, a friend and I have around 550 points each, we worked out that we could not bother going to an away game for 4 years and still be top priority, if the current system was to remain in place. Really doesn't seem fair. As you say, weighted points and perhaps a shorter history for away priority may work better.
  10. This is a good point to raise, stung me for a fiver even with essential meds for my son. Made me take the meds in seperately. Really annoyed me at the time tbh, I even took to twitter for a moan 😂
  11. Usually do it this way, Arsenal Station actually clears pretty quickly afterwards, although the queue seems huge when you join it. To add, if you can't park at Cockfosters, go to the Co-op, turn right where you will find ample fee Street parking.
  12. Just incase a spare ticket comes up today, please let me know as I've not been able to find one for my son (yet). Don't mind which age bracket. Can collect locally or meet at ground. Thanks in advance.
  13. I've never used them before, just thought I'd look into it as I need this trip to be a short one, unfortunately. I guess you've had some experience with them? If so, be good to hear what it was as I'm sure people on here won't want to be scammed.
  14. Tbh, that's what I thought aswell, with the small allocation they might actually struggle to fill a plane.
  15. I emailed Sport Options last week and had the following response: It is looking like we will operate a daytrip to this game . We are firstly waiting to see that the Danes are going to open up stadiums and more importantly allocate tickets to visiting fans. It's very much our intention to operate into Aarhus and have coaches back and forth to Randers. We are trying to keep costs as low as possible. We have an aircraft held off and we hope ( but can't guarantee) to be able to announce something around the end of the month.. if not before. Hope this helps All the best Sport Options I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, travelling there and back, but if like me you need to keep it short then this is a possibility. I know it has been mentioned earlier in this thread as well.
  16. I get your point, but couldn't members argue that they are paying a member ship fee then almost twice as much per game for the same matches as a season ticket holder is attending? The other issue now is that we're not ina situation anymore where people are choosing not to have a season ticket. It's that they can't get one.
  17. You're right, exactly how it used to be. Fully agree with all of what you say. I did post something on here a few years back related to how MUFC organise their away tickets. They break down each category and you know who has had what. Quite interesting actually as a model for others to follow. Can't say I was completely on agreement with how they distribute them, but at least they're transparent.
  18. Wouldn't those ST holders that travel away still have the same advantage though? It would just remove those that don't really do away games that often, but would reward those that do regardless of longevity of ST ownership (which I don't think should come in to it) jumping in for a glory game. At least it should do anyway. Perhaps 2 rolling seasons of away points ar something. 1st sell to those that went to 20, then 15, then 10 and so on down to all STH and members later perhaps?
  19. I see what you're saying. The points continue though each year, so he'll always be 400 or 350 or whatever it is behind others and unable to catch up. It's only the bigger games that this is a problem, but what essentially happens, understandably, is more people want to go and exercise their 'right' to buy an away ticket. My point is, and always has been that the season ticket away reward points shouldn't be given as away reward points. If you see what I'm saying, the 415 bracket for example is attendance at 15 away games over 8 years. Some of the people who have had a ST for less time will do more than that in a year, yet when the big game rolls around they can't get a ticket. Perhaps home points would be more suitable to carry weight if we get to another cup final for example. Not 100% sure what the answer is tbh. Just to add, my main purpose for being on here isn't to moan about my son not getting a ticket but more just to show empathy woth others like him, be they adults or children that are feel unfairly treated by this strange system. On a side note, I myself have around 550 pts and have worked out that (if the syetme remains the same) I can go 4 seasons without buying a single away ticket and still be top points bracket. This simply isn't fair on others and I say that as somebody who benefits from the system.
  20. Most are on his ticket, but then if he can't get one I do whatever I can to get him one, as pointed out in my original post. Sometimes buying from here, I've also joined my daughter as a member to be able to enter the ballot. The problem will always be there as he's 400 points behind in a system that rewards longevity with away prioroty rather than away travel. He'll neevr catch up until enough people have given up their season ticket.
  21. I really think he should be rewarded correctly for the 60 away games he has been to by being able to get tickets for more desirable away games. What I'm saying is, someone with hundreds of 'away' points by virtue of having a 'home' season ticket (he also has one BTW) shouldn't be rewarded in this way as they don't actually go away as often, or at all. Then of course, what about members who travel away? Their away priority point is pretty much useless. ST benefits already exist without this one, guaranteed seat, almost half the price of match day prices, so on and so on. It's not that I want to take my son with me, I do take him, everywhere (other than far away on a school night). He should be rewarded for this in the correct way and so should the countless others that travel away regularly. Also, surely we can't just continue with they were born first so get priority over things, football tickets or anything else.
  22. I wonder if you've missed the point a little. Certianly in my sosns case. He's 8 and does go everywhere, with me. He can't get a ticket for games like these as the queue is jumped by people who have essentially got some grandfather rights by having a season ticket before he was even born. Of course people will point it out for these games as this is where the problems occur. From what I can see, people in this thread are going to away games but are affected by the hundreds of points gathered by ST holders of longer that can now jump the queue. As I've pointed out above, there are people on 415 points able to buy a ticket having only been to approx 2 aways per season. So, it actually falls quite far down the brackets. Others, though have done far more aways than that and can't get one. Therefore, it isn't the fairest system. It's not rewarding away travel, its rewarding long term ST holders Like I also pointed out, this doesn't directly affect me with my 550 odd points but I do feel for those that it does.
  23. I've asked about it before as well. Never really gotten anywhere. It doesn't affect me personally as I have 550 ish points. However, my son is 8 and got his first ST this year. Prior to this he has been to circa 60 aways since 2018-19. Often winning the members ballot, using different refs or kind souls on here (some genuinely kind people, charging me kids prices for their adult tickets, one even insisted I had an adult ticket free for Brentford) It's worth noting the effort that goes in to all this, if we're away in London on a Sat and somebody has a spare in Derby on a Friday night, I'm off to pick it up. Its either top-level parenting or top-level stupidity, not made my mind up which yet! This year I have even joined my daughter as a member in order to enter the ballot for him, got 2 so far. Wolves and Everton, so one of them he won't be able to go to anyway as it'll be a school night now. In fact, the only away game he hasn't been to this year is Millwall (not including Europa League, although I'd love to take him to one) I've sometimes used my dad's ST ref when I've not managed to get a child's ticket, but he's on 409 points so for Forest, not even a sniff. I have spoken about this on here before, it doesn't always go down well tbh. Personally, I feel that away points should be given for away attendance, that's it. All that happens is those with high points that don't usually go away can jump in for big games or small allocations. I know there are others on here who have similar issues with the 'loyalty' system. I think the Brentford thread has a few posts relating to similar. Also, perhaps some people in this situation that have comfortably been to more aways than the prioroty bracket that the sales have reached. Eg, 415 points is 15 aways over the last 8 years. When you think of it like that you don't have to have been to many to have actually picked up a ticket for Forest if you've had a ST since 14-15. In so many ways the club are trying to get families to games, but when it comes to away gamss the kids don't stand a chance. I kmow a number of games reach all ST holders but they are starting 350-400 behind and will never catch up.
