  1. He’s 48. He can stay up as late as he likes.
  2. Anyone else want us to pick a team of just 15 year olds for the next game just to annoy BC Game? (also because they'd be better than the current team)
  3. Every week I like football less and less
  4. Starting to think Ruud’s whole mission is to just ruin Vardy’s last season as revenge for Jamie breaking his record. He is a petty, horse faced man.
  5. Dreadful display and the social media team choose a picture where Bilal looks like he’s playing with his hands in his pockets. “Work to do”. You don’t say.
  6. I wish that this would mean RVN walking away tomorrow, but I'm sure he has an accountant reminding him that if he does that then he's walking away from a ton of money. I mean it's not like he's ever going to get a job anywhere else now, so he's hanging on till we fire him, which we probably can't. Whole situation is rotten. I hate modern football. I'd just like to see just some semblance of fight and desire for the team from anyone. I suspect Mavididi was trying his best more to prove a point to RVN (and failing, let's be honest, even if he was brighter than everyone else) than to actually get the team anything. Still, nothing will change tomorrow; we'll still have RVN and Rudkin and upper management who haven't had a clue what to do since Vichai passed away. This season is like fighting a constant, terrible depression that nothing can pull you out of. Hideous on every level.
  7. Second goal went in and Ruud couldn't have looked like he cared less. Worst manager in the history of our club. No passion. No ideas. Nothing whatsoever. Beyond crap. Never mind Cooper being better, a weird hybrid lovechild of all the worst parts of Pleat, Levein and Holloway would be better.
  8. This game is making me not just dislike our current team, but actively hate the game of football.
  9. Ruud HAS to go. Now. Don't even wait for tomorrow. Get him gone and bring in whoever we want in the Championship next season. Or let Kingy have a go. SOMEONE WHO CARES JUST A LITTLE TINY BIT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
  10. This point exactly! We've had plenty of DREADFUL players but at least I saw some fight in them.
  11. The combination of the consumerist horror that is the Premier League combined with how dreadful we are, without an ounce of fight in us, has made me more depressed than when we got relegated to League One. I couldn't care less that we're in the "best league in the world". It's torture. I will care again when we're in the Championship, with a hungry young manager who isn't reliant on the fact that he was a good player, with a younger team of players who I can start to like again. I don't even care when we lose at the minute. Passion replaced by apathy.
  12. Rotten. Absolutely useless and Ruud hasn’t got a clue. It’s like watching ten competition winners and their grizzled old uncle.
  13. North Wales, when I can get to games around work. Previously it was Hinckley, Barwell and then Orlando (the latter was a bit of a commute)
  14. Asked why he took off El Khannouss, Van Nistelrooy replied: "Because the crowd [does not] want a substitution, it doesn't mean I have to explain all the reasons behind the substitution. It's not for the public, out of respect for the players to come on, because they are valuable members of the squad, and they deserve minutes to help this team as well. It's not about one person in this team, in this squad." Aaah. So he can’t explain it because he doesn’t know why he did it. Wanted to like him but he’s making Cooper look like Shankly, Fergie and prime Mourinho combined.
  15. Yeah I think we're doomed lads.
  16. I think if you've been a fan for twenty years or more then no, you don't have a sense of entitlement. Many of us remember how awful things have been in the past, way worse than now. But there's definitely a load of fans on social media who have only been around since 2016 and are absolute bells.
  17. USA Network coverage of the Ipswich / United game is tedious. So desperate for a United win. Also they just said that Ipswich didn’t spend much money in the summer. Net spend of £108 million.
  18. We absolutely have a replacement lined up. Look at the club’s IG announcement. It says the coaches will be taking training, not that they’ll be in caretaker charge of the next game as it often does. Yes, I am clutching at straws. Still, nice news to wake up to!
  19. Rewatching the Chelsea goal and I think it might be one of the worst goals we’ve ever conceded. We only had ninety chances to clear the ball. Rotten. Wilf should have been sent off. No idea why VAR didn’t say that was a red. If it was against us we’d all be calling for it. I have no idea why I thought getting up early for this game wouldn’t ruin my weekend in any way. Still at least I got a Taco Bell breakfast (underrated)
  20. I like to think that I’m a glass half full kind of guy when it comes to football. But we are crap. We’ll probably score so everyone in the media can point out that we’re one of only three teams to score in every blah blah blah. But yep. Crap.
  21. What a surprise. VAR gives us nowt
  22. I went to Dortmund a few years back. As I was planning a trip with friends, I emailed their corporate people and said I was planning this big once in a lifetime trip and they helped us get tickets at face value. Genuinely very helpful club, which was also my experience of going to Hertha (and Ajax too).
  23. Always loved that lad. Him scoring with his first touch on his debut is a fantastic memory. 39 is no age. RIP.
  24. What a wonderful player. Will always be one of my favourites, not just for the obvious stuff but because he seemed to be such an excellent human being. I wonder if one of the reasons that he's giving up the game relatively early is his home situation; I think he split with his Mrs a while back (she's not mentioned in any of his goodbye posts) and he seems incredibly committed to his daughters. Just reinforcing again what a smashing bloke he is. I'd love the club to give him a job doing something down the line. Specialist crossing coach sounds good to me...
  25. Thanks mate! (Also thanks to @Iran who posted earlier) For anyone else in the USA, paramount plus does the free trial for a week thing so you can sign up for the game tonight and then cancel later on (hopefully not out of rage, but we’ll see)
