  1. He's injured and only in the team as a batsman according to the commentator.
  2. Agreed the domestic cricket season lasts 4 months we aren't in the hundred, the club would mental not to try and be as competitive as possible in all 3 competitions.
  3. We can't be dropping Logan can we? Him and Holland have the 2 most wickets in the division 2 championship (54 between them). I have just watched his interview with Rehan after last nights game and he seems like such a top bloke. He is also averaging nearly 30 with the bat With Holland in the US Mahsood will have to sit this one out I would hope.
  4. Makes me laugh how much Pearson is idolized on here but whenever similar kind of managers like dyche and Wilder are linked people are up in arms.
  5. Yes felt very busy again although a much more family friendly feel than the Friday night games with much smaller ques for a beer.
  6. We are desperate for hull and Mike back.
  7. Jesus mate what must you have been like in the bad old days when they didn't win a match for 18 months or whatever it was!
  8. ****ing hell lads we are 3 from 4 was it a bit closer than we would have liked? Yes. But that's the nature of 20 20 cricket the mentality Alfonso and Taylor has instilled in these is off the charts. Up the foxes!
  9. mike not in the squad must be still injured shame as he is great option in 20 20
  10. Can anyone share this? We have beaten them twice already this season and one draw where they were saved by the weather.
  11. Rehan back for tomorrows game - https://www.leicestershireccc.co.uk/news/match-preview-t20-blast-lancashire-lightning-4-june-2025 Great news his bowling and batting will be most welcome! Wonder if that means he hasn't made the the final cut for englands first t20 game or if they want him to get a game in beforehand.
  12. I'm a fairly new convert to the county this is only my 2nd season of following them properly but couldn't agree more about the unfashionable part. It reminds very much of following Martin O'Neils City at filbo in the mid to late 90s. Largely ignored and belittled by the cricketing establishment but suddenly with the right man in charge and a crop of journeymen written off elsewhere as well as a sprinkling of brilliant youngsters we are suddenly beating everyone. To say it's night and day compared to the last 12 months at city would be a huge understatement but it's just what I've needed. Up the foxes.
  13. Brilliant night at a rocking Grace road which was easily the fullest I have seen it. Club must be chuffed as they clearly sold a lot of beer especially the new Guinness line. Even spotted a green smoke bomb up the foxes.
  14. I think it's done and dusted. 217, 167, 225, 188, 221 are the points totals for 2nd place for the last 5 seasons (excluding COVID) we are currently on 139 even the bottom sides tend to average 8 points a game so even if we dropped to bottom of the table form we would still finish on 197 which might be enough.
  15. Enjoy the conference league lads.
  16. Completely different to when lower league clubs have successfully done this. The owners are billionaires. I doubt they will even notice. They didn't even buy the club to make money but even if they did a boycott wouldn't be very effective and all the revenue is in TV rights, sponsorship and corporate hospitality.
  17. Funny how those "lucky" results stopped when another manager took over!
  18. Hiring Steve cooper when the team was set up to play Enzo ball was a big mistake but... Sacking him when we spent the summer and a small fortune signing his players and when we were out the relegation places was also another big mistake. That being said it looks like you might need upwards of 42 points to stay up this season and there isn't a chance in hell cooper (or anyone else for that matter) gets anywhere near that. So it's for the birds but there can't be any argument that we would be a lot closer to staying up under cooper.
  19. No one is expecting him to provide miracles. They just want a little glimmer of excitement to take the edge of the absolute misery of following us at the moment and a 15 year old getting minutes provides that. I would be getting more of the young lads on.
  20. To be fair it's pretty obviously the worst side, not even worth the question! But I still thought it was interesting to compare them.
  21. Unless I have forgotten one, This season will be our 5th relegation in the modern premier league era. Currently statistically it's the worst (0.58 points per game) but is it in your opinion the worst side we've had? Here is the competition. 94/95: 0.69 points per game Managed by Brian little who's city side managed to secure promotion via the play offs at the 3rd attempt. 01/02: 0.78 points per game Peter Taylor's relatively expensive side imploded the side eventually went down under Dave basset. Some good wins against villa and spurs after we were mathematically relegated makes the points per game a little better but be under no illusions this was a long slog of a season. 03/04: 0.86 points per game this was one of the better sides to watch on the list with izzet, Marcus bent etc it was involved in several 7+ goal thrillers usually on the wrong end of the scoreline. 22/23: 0.89 points per game the best points per game on the list but also criminal that a side with Madison, Barnes, Tilemans etc were in this position.
  22. People regularly tried to argue with the frothing morons the wanted cooper out that we were about where we expected to be under him. Well this is what being below where we should be looks like. I hope your happy.
  23. You are thick if you think that: A. This has anything to do with that so called protest on Saturday. What ever you think of them king power has given millions to local causes long before people decided to show their anger by.... walking to the ground like a normal match day https://moodiedavittreport.com/leicester-city-f-c-and-king-power-chairman-makes-1-million-donation-to-leicester-hospitals-charity/ B. Even if we follow your logic that 300 people walking to the ground mingling in with normal fans not singing has shamed them into charity pr work (which they do every year anyway) it's a lot of work to do 2 charity partnerships in 3 days I think you are underestimating how much work contractually etc goes into one of these! The running of the club over the last 4 years and the lack of transparency should very much be up for scrutiny and debate. King powers commitment to local causes should absolutely not be in my opinion.
  24. Bit of a difference between 80k a week and 80k a year.
