  1. I don't think so, I think most reasonable fans of other clubs know that fsp is ridiculous and un competitive and are pleased someone has shown it up for how ridiculous it is.
  2. How do you know who was who's signing? Because congerton and Rogers just like macia and puel had worked together for years at other clubs. I imagine signing a player to be a very collaborative process with them pouring over data and potential cost not just everyone in a room fighting for their own picks. And yes of course he deserves critism for the monumental drop off lots of people do but the criticism of Rudkin started long before the drop off in fact I can remember it starting after the Adrien Silva 13 seconds (or whatever it was) debacle which I think was reported afterwards to be sporting Lisbon's fault. So the fact he doesn't help himself because he looks like a little weasel and he never does interviews which leads fans to make their own stories about him but the truth is he has been a scapegoat for everything bad and a focal point for fan anger for years and years and I find it quite boring and poisonous.
  3. I don't really like the bloke. As I said he or someone at his level should be accountable to the fans and he should be being interviewed on Lcfc YouTube at least once maybe twice a year setting out the direction the clubs going in and explaining the decisions of the past year. Other clubs get this and the fact the club expect to put up the prices of tickets, merchandise and food and drink up at way past the rate of inflation and keep fans completely in the dark is almost criminal. But ... There is absolutely no way in hell he is the bogey man responsible for every single thing that's gone wrong and nothing that gone right that some on here would have you believe. And the more it drags on the more he gets blamed the more it just looks like a witch hunt and the more it just sounds like negative, ill informed moaning that ends up polluting ever part of the message board and actually hurts us when we do need to push back on something like the 25 quid card charge because to the club we are just whinging about everything all of the time.
  4. I agree with this regarding transfers that you should look at the heads of recruitment and see if their period was a success. Steve Walsh: big success Macia: big success Congerton big disappointment Glover: jury still out but last summer was ace So based on that he is doing his job.
  5. Ok so based on that slightly reductive logic does he then deserve a bit of credit for: Hermadsen 6 million Fatawu 17 million Winks 10 million Mavidivi 7.5 million Fofana 30 million
  6. I'm not one to stick up for Rudkin, There has obviously been mistakes made over the last 5 years and I find the lack of transparency and lack of respect shown to the fans absolutely infuriating. But... what I find baffling about the Rudkin out mob. Literally anything that goes wrong at the club is his fault entirely and anything that goes right is someone else's responsibility to take credit for. If we had lost the legal appeal and got 6 points deducted with none taken of for co-operation can anyone honestly say with a straight face that it wouldn't have got pinned on Rudkin on here? So surely he then has to take a small amount of credit now? As well as the relegation and ffp breaches which were obviously bad he was also doing exactly the same job when we won the premier league, fa cup and qualified for Europe 5 times which is obviously good. He can't be some all powerful exec with his grubby hands on every bad decision whilst simultaneously being in his office wanking it off while all the good decisions are being made. You can't blame him for 100 percent of the bad and credit him with 0 percent of the good to do so insults people's intelligence and in my case turns me off your cause because it's so obviously not logical and biassed.
  7. Haha why am I not surprised this wasn't going to be attributed to rudkin! If we had lost the appeal and got extra points added for not excepting it who do you think foxestalkers would have been going after?
  8. Right so my extremely reductive understanding of it is we went down to the championship and successfully appealed points deduction based on it being a different league, we then got promoted and the premier league tried to get us for it and we appealed based on being in a different league seems to me that the big brains at the premier league hadn't factored in legally what happens when a side gets relegated.
  9. This sounds promising hopefully someone intelligent can explain what it means exactly.
  10. Whilst the ref wasn't to blame for us losing he was shockingly indecisive and weak all game examples being the skipp challenge where he played on for a few seconds then went back to it or the vardy penalty in the 97th where his arm went up back down then up again. The ball hit him 3 times once a game is unusual 3 times your clearly positioning yourself badly also the drop balls he would drop it at a defenders feet with a striker right next to them so we were instantly under the pump that's not how it's supposed to work. All these things combine to give out the impression to every one in the stadium that you don't know what your doing and your gong to have a long afternoon.
  11. Just on my way back from the ground. Cooper got a warm reception from all 4 sides of the ground at full time with the crowd appreciating his sides endeavour and fight. The only place that's toxic is this negative little echo chamber.
  12. Oh good it's been about 20 hours since the last foxestalk meltdown (at 5 yesterday when you didn't think we were signing a striker). We were due another! Up the city
  13. I think it's fairly obvious we wanted to be a little more ambitious than we have been this summer. With Solue and holzek but With the looming points deduction, an on paper uninspiring manager and financial constraints meaning the club can no longer blow teams out the water on wages we found it quite hard going and has led to a solid if unspectacular window. Historically how it's viewed will all depend on how good the Moroccan turns out to be it could be anywhere from a 5 to 8 out of 10.
  14. The argie on loan and hopefully Eduardo on loan tonight.
  15. But. But. But I thought Ipswich was a brilliantly ran club from top to bottom who were lightyears ahead of us? Lol can you imagine the rancour from you lot if that's what our transfer deadline looked like?
  16. I read earlier in the thread he's in the last year of his deal.
  17. Just googled it. Unused sub!
  18. What about the Walsall game or is he cup tied?
  19. We could have a team out there to do medical etc
  20. To be honest if you liked Danny Simpson and enjoyed watching him play for Leicester (I did by the way) you need to get off your high horse here.
  21. 6 games is generous these days! Plenty on here genuinely wanted cooper gone after 2!
  22. Link them mate. If any of these sources say we have only just started to seek a permanent deal for him this week I'll buy you a pint.
  23. How on earth could you possibly know that?
