Anyone signed in the summer of 2016 has to be in with a shout so... Musa, Kaputska, Hernandez, Ron Robert Zieler, Slimani. Such a great opportunity to build on the success of the previous year. Utterly thrown away by awful signings.

Unless I'm mistaken we can lose Sunday and it's still in our hands? -
Very exciting link anyone know how he got on in turkey last year?
-
I'm sure the main factor in his decision for a loan move in Jan was game time. He had a lot more chance of playing minutes at hull than he did at Leicester with Dewsbury-hall, ndidi, yunnis, Kasey all in his position.

Too soon to hit the panic button?
The whole world smiles replied to SafewayFox's topic in Transfer Talk
Not how people saw it at the time. To be honest we wouldn't have got promoted without signing mavidivi and fatawu and they both came quite late in the window. Let's judge the window at the end of it. -
Too soon to hit the panic button?
The whole world smiles replied to SafewayFox's topic in Transfer Talk
I Seem to remember a lot of hysteria and panic last pre season, with the rained off pre season tour In Thailand and with wanya and Kasey starting the season on the wings but it all came together. Obviously you would like to get your business done early but that isn't always realistic and I honestly think we are a player or two shy of having a competitive side (in terms of staying up). Like most of you I am not totally happy with where we are but the message board has more or less been in a constant state of panic for about the last 3 years and to be honest I find it a bit boring. -

Tells the story of an unprofessional and unscrupulous agent who is prepared to shit on people he has just been working with in public to try and make him self look good without realising he's making himself look quite bad. -

Matt O’Riley - signed for Brighton

Agreed signed for 22 million sold for 40 million was here for 5 seasons. Won an fa cup, played in Europe for us twice scored some of the best goals I've seen. Underneath the Gucci backpacks and Lamborghinis seems a decent kid who's living his dream. -
The snobbishness here reminds me of the harry winks signing. This is a very good signing for where we are as a football club.

Massive congratulations to the media team that was 1st class, easily the best piece of content they have ever done. Great to see them give a bit of exposure to a local band. I for one will certainly check them out on Spotify now.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official
The whole world smiles replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
If we hadn't given him 3 years he would have signed for someone else. Same with jannik. It's just what happens when players run down their consider it a free transfer tax instead of a transfer fee. -
In fairness kante had a clause in his contract to go to a champions league club for 20 million (there were plenty that would have activated it) chelsea who weren't in Europe paid 32 million. Fofana they basically gave us 70 million for a cripple who had they not would have been stuck on a long term deal with his value slowly dying. They also paid 35 million for drinkwater who was clearly not their mentality wise and barely kicked a ball professionally after.

Yeah? Having a good tournament.

For those of you like me struggling to find the interview you need to download the LCFC app and it's on there you don't need to login or sign up to anything. God knows why the media department decided to hide a bloody good interview that could start to change peoples minds on a app but whatever.

Is there a video interview anywhere? Couldn't see one on YouTube, have to wonder what they are doing over there this is pretty basic stuff.

Claudio, nige (first stint), and MON would have all been underwhelming appointments on paper and are 3 of the greatest managers in our history.

You people are completely off your head if you think he signs a 1 year deal. Why would he? Where is the precedent for a out of contract 31 year old coming off a brilliant season where he was one of the best players in the league in his position and stayed completely injury free signing a 1 year deal? Would he sign a 2 year deal? I don't know, maybe, maybe not, it depends on his agent and what other offers he had on the table but you are essentially having a meltdown over an extra year in his contract that he might not have signed and you can sure as shit know the same people would have been moaning about rudkin if he left on a free.
-
A lot of people used to claim he was being left out of squads because he played for Leicester hopefully this will ease their paranoia in future.

I do feel deflated. I was a big fan of Enzo. But plenty of positives in all this. 1. Lots of question marks about Enzo's style of football in a league where we no longer had the best, most technically gifted players. He proved to rigidly stick to it in its entirety come what may so was we could of dodged a bullet there (we will never know of course). 2. The club gets 10 million plus for Enzo and his staff. In the current situation that is most welcome and could be the difference between selling or keeping KDH. Also if we started the season badly and we had to sack him (like a lot on here wanted a month ago) then it would have cost us 10 million plus to do it so in that hypothetical situation it's a net gain of 20 million. 3. If he was remotely successful He was going anyway he's an incredibly trendy pep prodigy that was always going to be in demand by the big boys. better now where the new man gets a pre season and a chance to sign his own players than in September when Man United sack Ten Haag. 4. Counter attacking football. We are perfectly placed to implement this with a rapid front 3 and KDH going box to box. In fact we looked at our devestating best last season when we had less of the ball. Enzo hated this and even after we scored great goals in this manner repeatedly expressed this is not how he wants to play. Hopefully the new manager will look at the situation and the players at his disposal and will be a bit more open to playing different ways.
