  1. I don’t do media,or wagging tong speculation..The lad was foolish, club & Enzo will deal with it has they see fit..Some fans enjoy that adrenaline of Soap-opera discussion.I concentrate on the football, training and gameday debate…
  2. So taking in the pain of Forest & Blackburn… We have our own New manager Bounce totally new squad No baggage, belief in building up something special to contradict that old Leicester DNA….4-2 to the sprightly Foxes. For some weird reason,it seems some fans are already falling on their swords predicting “we are doomed” scenario, where in fact nobody or no period has put us in a form that should cast such doubts. We are about to switch into our. Dirty face,no angels mode and go into another unbeaten stretch..
  3. Suspend & fine him against Birmingham..and tell hell he’s a very naughty boy, Then suspend him again against Swansea just to show we are very, very angry
  4. Sometime I think too many fans try their best to discount players for themselves,so they can write years of BS… Hes been a top find for us,a young lad that is presently starting out in his career. Hes done us proud so far, fits with no edges into the system and produced nothing less than acquired..His one downfall is he just has to gather the natural phases of experience. In doing so he will have his ups and downs..A great time to follow a group of young players in the Leicester shirt and their progress….A few years ago we had a group of gypsies, travellers, tramps & Vagabonds, here we have a decent mixed group, who could well have more about them, those few years ago none of them stood a chance, and went through the typical FT-fan mangle, what happened next is history.. Take note!!! Our top 6 competitors fans prefer to shout their clubs promises and aspirations and not like FT throw out bundles of negative doubts over every player that pops on the foxes badge…
  5. I wouldn't disagree on the whole, but one has to take into account.. New potentially top class manager with "his" new version of a system.. Not a season old.. Go a melting pot of players to integrate and play together within a totally new system.. It's obvious every week there will be flaws, but they are well outweighed, by all positive points of progress. Summised weak spots have not materialized, not one player has been the weak spot, all have had in these 28 games, regularly great moments and responsible for our best movements.. Think yo are spot on, with our natural goalscorer es not being on the end of our Best chances.. Ricardo though adding some top goals has even missed the target in several chances where one wished Cannon, DAKA, KdH were there.. But again We Really are splitting hairs, because despite the frustration on valid points from many posters, we are deservedly out in front. Too much dawdling at the back, putting ourselves under the press from the opposition, creating a sloppyness all around that really isn't necessary, we are not timing our shrewd defence, with knowing when to release the ball forward, where the get out is available.. Maybe Enzo want to create that pressure, so we start to feel more confident on the ball & between two OPPO players, he too has a responsibility in a or that belief of confidence on the ball, even if occasionally, we put ourselves up shift street, of late our fire power has subsided somewhat.. Chances are there, but not expected conversion rate. Last night & a their caff, we could of easily have already been 3 up, before the 60-70th minute. I don't think for instance Akgun even understood why he had to play Vardy in last night, if he had there wouldn't of been a dropped 2 points.. But even this we are in a rebuilding project and no blue-papers drawn where fans can say we should be doing this or that, no matter how to the fans eye it's obvious. The journey still has a long way to go
  6. Full rest, bring out the fringe players Starsky Thomas Coady Nelson Doyle Praet Akgun Maswanhise Albrighton. Marcal Vardy 4.2… Vardy BRum Praet Vardy Brum Marcal
  7. But all our wingers have that tendency,so it’s not a Mcateer problem. Our players play to a system’I believe it’s a squad that,is also learning its strengths, and all its problems in detail. I don’t disagree with any comments that point out our inbalances or weakness,so long has they appreciate it’s a squad and system is in its infancy and still in its developing stage. The club and Enzo has not brought nor bought a ready made Package or system. Also doubts were being offered also into the 9-12th game period…. We has a squad and manager introducing a base and early blue prints of a system, can’t be compared as though after half a season, and also at the end are anywhere near the finished product. Choosing Enzo and his ideas, with his backing sport coaches, offered us a base and future,to stop the rot,and a catastrophic future running away from us… Ipswich on the other hand are in their 2nd season and coming from the other direction. Also with a more set idea with potential to develope within their system Twice we have met in the middle, showing through our performances, that we are on even keel to compete and challenge for those 2 automatic promotion spots in the championship, both having the credentials to go further and develope their not so perfect but developing systems with potential but also rightly so up for scrutiny.. Ipswich though interesting, and our nearest worthy competitor are not relevant to any of my emotional concern of their seasons destination, All our fans have that right,to judge analyse and criticise how the system and manager are performing even at this early stage, but also at the same time give thought and space it takes more than a season to even start to mold the idea, and we are fortunate to experience and be part of the moulding phases. We could of been like many relegated clubs, devoyed of any future self or rekindled potential. Today we proved that the want and the motivation is still there, every single player put in a shift,no one was lagging… We are still not confident to move the ball quicker up the field and hold the ball further up the field for longer periods…Thats why at present we let our defence hold the ball in a false comfort zone far too long. We at present due to this mindset automatically creates, from players showing being comfortable on the ball periods of sloppyness in play and mental discipline. IMO even within this system, towards the end of the game one has to be prudent in game management and mix up playing long ball, and not always playing triangles,in your own backyard when opposition with their press are countering those triangles. One has to pick n mix, releasing the ball earlier. No use fans chastising individuals, they are playing to the system ethics, which produced for example Faes,Choudhury,Vestergaard through 40-70 minute returning great moments and performances, being sharpe when required, then the team suddenly pushing the line in sloppyness and not keeping their discipline in the Bline or movement through midfield interfaces. In the last 15 minutes,we played it too close with our defensive triangles and forced the issue ourselves,by playing around the Bline for too long a periods. We had Mavididi often alone in some potential great space, and loss of opportunity in creating n building our own press. We are lacking in confidence in defending through and with our midfield line We offer up late in the game far too often far too much of the last 3rd of the field… And often it’s not the opposition taking it,but we simply give it up…. So I bet through the rest of the season,we will scream and shout at all those frustrating moments, and purr at those succulent movements and moments..
  8. Playing these defensive triangles deep in your own half, when the spaces were there.Turning into traffic and not using Mavididi has a get out,and using the right side when left was open, Winks,Ricardo,Choudhury and Vestergaard, great one minute bloody sloppy the next. If Akgun had fed Vardy…game over.. Again another deflected shot that caught out Mads, who makes a top save, but couldnt control his parry.. What a great game KDH had,but was tired, and needed subbing.. Has a team Turning away unnecessarily from the left side press allowed Ipswich back into the game….Faes and Mavididi had the game in their hands but their teammates didn’t see or appreciate it… Lets not forget this is Enzo’s first season he himself also has to still learn many a things… Frustrated yes,we had chances, even in the 2nd half to kill it,we have to learn to be more clinical…We are still a 3 game turn of results, ahead of our 2 closest rivals. That isn’t too bad, being we really has a squad are not the finished article, but still a bloody good one with flaws..
  9. I wonder if no7, has said I ain’t moving to a group of losers,I would rather stay at the KP..
  10. In your reckoning..that must go also for Mavididi,KDH, now Cannon… Mcateer deserves being given his reins, we need to develope & motivate our young players with proven high potential. You can only prove any recognition by putting it out there…not hiding it..or saving it for a rainy day.. Like KDH before him, this is Mcateer time to put his case forward, even if it might be in different phases…
  11. so.. Our history was taking decent points from the bigger boys, but also always losing to Arsenal and Manutd… Our seasons depended how we competed against the rest of the 2/3rds of the Old 1st Division, now PL. Work it out…..challenge/compete for Europe,it’s winning those tie-breaks against those other « Also-rans » lose and win the odd Derby, because midland clubs arent in top 6 big club with exceptions, though A.Villa,Forest Derby have had the highest shouts, with us over fewer seasons. Podcast historonics here or there,I would prefer to have top 8-4th or above season, & losing 2-3 games against our nearest Derby rivals. Title /trophy bragging rights are my priority, not the noise from a ripple from Coventry/Forest fans.. We go 25yrs not beating either those 2, but qualifying & having Europe era & a couple of trophies…fcuk podcast plastic emotions,I know which history I prefer… oh !! Rics-podcast. Is both refreshing and interesting..So I will treat some material has fair dues, some selective, and those like local-Derbies hurt that one carries for the better good…
  12. What is Glovers covering remit…just another name in a white collar chair..
  13. We have a proven Young Goal scorer coming back from injury, just at the right time, I really don’t know what some people have against young Mcateer… We are at home and should be pushing our credentials. Albrighton is still a top player who does serve more than his purpose, but for me he’s the solid super-sub.
  14. Weather and people getting into town from the shire, will have some effect..

    Daka

He played with us up and down all leagues, was a participant in our highest moments…A couple of managers tried to make a DM from an excellent AM. He scored in every campaign after coming through our Academy…a true Leicester City career player that unlike negative remarks, shown how success and plaudits were great companions he can wear proudly….Also the gravy of being a Welsh international…If that isn’t having any impact….God your way off having the right to analyse or judge on even understanding footballers careers.. Footballers careers are not just about the real high flyers, there are those that fit a good backbone of shaping a career. The managers in Kings case were often his reason not to complete more games in his clubs shirts..
  16. Don’t bother about media clickbait.
  17. Disagree.. Even in the summer.!! If Club doesn't force him out, a LA Barnes. KDH is a one club player, he's a fox until I die..!
  18. Besides, Albrighton, Marcal, Maswanhise, & Vardy.. How many attacking players do you want, plus one of Akgun or Praet ( if one of them plays)
  19. Ah ye of little faith... Enzo has faced all challenges including tinkering with midfield a few times.. Now is time for our trusted few, to ride into the valley of the unknown, but keep to their Aspirations true..
  20. Southampton nor Ipswich season will not be defined by Leeds results… Their own strengths or their own lack of them, will define their own next few seasons history..Like us they have an hidden strength of confidence, but they too know who blinks too often, will lose their bragging rights… I can see these 3 teams hitting low 100s pts, even Leeds on 97-101pts and not get over the line… The biggest tragedy & travesty would be Leeds 101pts,losing in Play off to Hull or Coventry on 82-86pts..
  21. I never write players off.. Leeds fail this season Piroe & Bamford, get a move to PL to other teams, that manager rekindles their top flight career… Thats what they all hope for and what makes the jingle jangle of a footballers life.. Plus I doubt there is one fan that wouldn’t mind just being, a championship, division 1, or 2, player….That’s why the word fail or not upto it, ridiculed are well out of sync, when rating individuals careers. There is an harder world, where keyboard warriors ( nothing in your direction) are often fighting a losing battle..
  22. Not forgetting beating top side Southampton (a) oh and West Brom. then going to 2nd place Ipswich and getting a bloody good draw, only last minute deflection stole our win... So really losing only 4 games to sides either then top 2 ambitions, others now holding or chasing at present playoff positions.. We in the whole are not worried on our form with Top sides.. But what an interesting position for us, If we beat teams out of top 6,and only drop points against top 6...That sees us Promoted still with the record points open. So treble 19 = 57 + present 65 122 pts. To play with.. I suppose a booky bet : 2 losses max 3 draws max Leaving 110 pts, might be worth a shout in taking the record.. Though if we confirm early promotion, one would quander if the record stays on. Dangerous but interesting times. Has there ever been a record collapse, from a team in our position... #No promotion # No play-off.. Booky bet..??
  23. This weekends big game…& suprise results:- Norwich 2-0 WBA M’borough 1-1 Rotherham The rest were routine. WBA loss, might open up the 5th-6th positions but again those bottom 3 could well upset many teams aspirations in that chasing pack Top 14 still in with a shout for play-off place. Though IMO none below top 3 have that consistency to challenge for top 2 places, also for me Leeds challenge faltered’and even with a decent run in,are too far off’ at this stage of the season, because they still will let important points slip… Like Enzo I am still wary of all games in front of us, though confident we will have the quality and mental discipline to stand up to the challenge despite the odd turbulence. One game at a time, and we tôt up in May..
  24. When haven’t we..?
  25. Despite at present our midfield woes, Mcateer Cannon Mavididi, will be a handful for many teams, it's a question after Winks can we find a new duo, that can feed those 3 and be an equal burden to the opposition in creating their own space and defending when the need is there. Praet seems an automatic choice is thar then using Ricardo or Akgun has a partnering foil, or use both without Praet. Plus Choudhury is another viable option. It's not that we are short on ideas & possible, it's whether Enzo can find again that magic, will see another Pairing click with Winks.. These couple of extra days training will serve us well, plus the FA. Cup round will allow Enzo to test again some Academy players.. If Enzo wanted to trial Mcateer in the middle, and have Marcal on the Wing FA. Cup would be the time to try it.. KdH is a blow, but our permutations are with players that have had gametime & know the ropes, so we should be more than OK. We just have to see then on GameDay, if the team is mentally up for it and prepared to do a shift... The stumbling of the Coventry result has to be corrected, and the team need the result to show & warn the championship.. Business as usual.. from the Foxes. A win is preferable, but a draw keeps the distance the same, no matter the other results... So far Enzo has picked up the gauntlet of every new challenge, and not waivered... We have learnt the right that there are 3 levels of a points gap.. 1-2, 3-4,4-6. The players won't consider that but the fans do, so if we see a reverse or draw, at present it's not season defining. We have later where that question might raise it's querying head... Though a firm top performance on Monday might also quell many growing doubts.
