Stolarczyk : Reminiscing of Shilton Days
fuchsntf replied to fuchsntf's topic in Leicester City Forum
This was just on Starsky last 2 games, and the comparison of last man standing performance… Not comparing whole careers..!! By the way it’s Yashin..seen him over a 2 week Cinema Documentary..he became sort of an idol for me,then Shortly within a very small midge of time,Banks started to make a name at Leicester, then England ,and again another small documentary,on Saturdaysport with Banks and other Home country goalies talking about Yashin, and goalkeeping, for a youngboy impressive stuff ,especially for that youngboy slowly watch Banks developement on his own doorstep down Filbert street. Those first seasons were like life long memories for a young kid…Easy then seeing in the flesh your real first idol G.Banks -
Not being too clever..too much sloppiness…,no need for us to play like they do at the back.

Gives him like Doyle another run out,and chance to get into better performances with Enzoball…Praet hasn’t been bad,but not shown he can change up in a game. Daka suprises me,unless Enzo wants to rest Cannon & Vardy for hardier games after Stoke…Swansea is a lighter opponent, but we still have to turn up and deliver. Enzo wants I am sure Doyle & Praet prove themselves in a strong team…

I know it’s early, but just on his last 2 outages, especially the last… Not scared of using his whole area and protecting it. Comes out for high balls, rarely rooted on his line. Will look and be prepared to challenge and win corners, pulling off saves, diving left or right.. willing to go in hand & head first Against Birmingham is shot stopping ratio, and collecting crosses, was one of the most a Leicester GK made over a few seasons. Iverson the closest. Yes it reminded me of the SHILTON ,WALLINGTON, “Last man standing days” which turned results around, sneeked draws. We shouldn’t belittle or underestimate “Starsky’s day at the office. There were not 1,but 2-3 specials on that day, which we used to be astounded in those Shilton,Wallington days. Yes 3-5% distribution wasn’t perfect and if your that critical, then you can’t find that fine balance that weighs up his performance..We didn’t chase perfection in those days when you have the no1 or No3 GKs in England maybe Europe Last Saturday we saw some top Goalkeeping ,Maidstone GK,but also our own Starsky pulled out even more exceptional saves, and crosses..Stolar a stellar performance… Outside the norm or average…

I am trying to compete with WORDLE, for a place in the Guinness book of records, for the most indeciphable load of claptrap on the planet.. Ex-Bletchley Park intelligence officers also inquired if my grandfather was one of the guys behind the Enigma-code.. They are still trying to decode my Answer..

Oki koki... That's, that sorted.. Albrighton, comes in on Bench.

It will be another interesting team selection.... will he keep new Academy players in the squad, or will we return to our favorite 1st choices. DAKA, Cannon, Vardy are our pleasant selection Headache.. Mcateer, Choudhury, Akgun, Praet another group that fits into either 1st choice or subs bench. KDH, Winks, Mavididi, when fit will play So most likely.. Mads Ricardo Vestegaard Faes Justin Winks KDH Praet/Akgun*** Mcateer Cannon Mavididi Subs: Vardy, Doyle, Coady, Daka, (***) Choudhury, Nelson. See if Enzo, pulls something elso out of his magic hat.. Instead of Daka, maybe B. Cover.

Sure there will be, but why not pay the Ten quid on Foxes hub.. It's not too much. I used to go down hunting for free stream.. but now Foxes hub usually starts with 3 man panel 1 hr before K.O, and the game broadcast runs without problems. It's a fair price to pay. Brum wasn't on FH, but I got the game over VPN in Asia.. Put in the game search and got into a site(A8) with several game choices. Hesgoal was another.

Isn’t that what many fans want to see..a more balanced group of millionaire footballers. Bring our youngsters down a bit.. nothing wrong with sportsman having an higher life style, but wages and valuations just went off the scale. Its obvious several sides will need to watch their purse strings including top clubs. Not that clubs will fall foul of FFP wrath, but will need to run a closer ship including the big boys. Wages will fall, valuations will become more acceptable, that can only be for the good. Whether an agreeable level of parity can find an acceptable level one will need to wait..but fans shouldn’t get uppity or be bias about it but should embrace a non corrupt FFP rulings and regulations..That young boys dream will still be there, including protecting the backbone of players, behind the stars .. Maybe..!!

Strange Mavididi, KdH, and Cannon, Converted 1 v1 recently..

Unpleasant dick I am just like a box of rice crispies.. Softens with each snap crackle n pop... Human mistakes no matter the obvious, are part of the emotions, not just for fans, but players as well, we gave ground and also pushed for other chances that would of also won it.. Swings roundabouts, and sandpit, so allowing the natural fate to grab its claim for order. If we had started to implode over a longer period and lost sight of our own game over said period, but we haven't.. Our opposition needs knockouts and snooker... They ain't getting them even when fans panic. I prefer Leeds, Ipswich media and fans, who show more confidence and hard support in their side and grab at straws for any positives, unlike our fans who jump, and jitter, on every single small hiccup.. Even Enzo realizes there will be dips in concentration, that's why he trys to create relaxed but commitment environment in his interviews. He knows he and squad ain't perfect and will stutter.. Wait until we get a few snooker against us.. then maybe it' will be worth being picky every week.. But at present I enjoy the whole experience small hiccups n all are exactly that..

Thank you I will.. Makes my life easier than chasing shadows.. Short or long cast.. -
Oooh how disgusting that football gets in your way,and every point is sqeakybum time for you,and you can’t accept there is always another football team on the pitch. And nothing is unavoidable, and a better than thou attitude falls on empty ground..

You take an arrogant bullish stance on believing what Enzo was thinking, and then have the audacity to sell him short. How the hell do you or others know what he’s thinking.. Hes changed the team selection on several occasions, using academy players or younger players…Your debating skills fall short on 20 game selection policies.. -
If he is, I wouldn't want him playing.. Just finished a tournament, and flying around, maybe pushing in meeting family... Let the guy relax, and have some space... Coming Weekend game is early enough for potential selection..

We were finding & creating chances, all over the place 2nd half against Brum. Your on the money with Ipswich... I don't really know what some fans are whining about.. They live in a concoction of fairytail and Disney, they can't take the real football story that it occasionally shares the various chapters with Brothers Grimm. Too many pretty perfects that dream how football in their mind should be, and find the facts of shaping and working games too imperfect to follow... Then let their frustration run free.. Though they have never seen a perfect season.. or game.

FA Cup 5th Round Draw - Bournemouth Away.
fuchsntf replied to whoareyaaa's topic in Leicester City Forum
If you want a late Winter midweek break.top hotels, right time of year end of Febuary.Could be a football package somewhere… Worth a a go ,if you have time… Enzo doesn’t have a 2nd -3rd team…just squad-players,pretty good at learning their trade on the job..The biggest guantlet on the ground and challenge so far, this season Performance more important than result.. Cherries are now respectfull mid table PL side.. Non of this arrogantly dissing off Bournemouth,it only pulls us down… Take a pinch of Enzo humble ways..Lets see how far we can push them. Its not this season or next season defining….Just a great chance in the FA.cup, to rattle cages, and give the squad another run out..Maybe suprise ourselves even. -
LCFC Vs. Birmingham City (3-0 W) Post Match Thread
fuchsntf replied to OntarioFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
What a great season for our young wanna-Be's.. Enzo mentioning in post match interview over how many Academy have forced themselves through. Plus fringe players put in their own penny worth.. With it Cannon solves a 5yr CF problem and if we sign Fatawu.. Rw concerns sorted. .. Marcal didn't quite click, but nothing to worry about. He has some decent credit in the bank. Where the Hell did Cover come from to put in one of the balanced performances in that 1st half of disarray. If anybody has some whinging negatives over his and our club, best hold the type for now.. 30 games gone, even with our reverses, some mistakes, and flaws solved, some open, but at the moment damn proud how we have turned our future prospects & potential around.. -
question about when BBC Leicestershire started
fuchsntf replied to infoman's topic in Leicester City Forum
Which station did those 2 great L'pool Matches in the 60s.. 1963 & 1969 which took city to the final. Great Times listening to the radio, with my Dad.. So different memories compared with easy TV. Intimacy is so different.. I have watched TV games with my kids 15-20 yrs ago, even now.. Just not the same sort of close atmosphere.. Plus even on TV in the 60s,many commentaries could be followed comfortably by blind people.. Knew where the play was Today too much waffle.. And miss commentating on excellent moves, fouls.. -
Love ITv doing an FA. Cup Sunday..

If we got Maidstone /Wrexham home in the draw... I Want us has club and fans give them the biggest welcome and away day they have ever had.. They get free clappers( our surplus in their colour's) . Donuts and a free drink..A free. special match day programme for under 14s. More importantly fans welcome them to KP, with some shared entertainment, or 1-2 pub/Cafe Chalet set up outside ground where both fans can share/meet up on the day together before and after the game..
