How is it still a mystery to people that this other striker we've got hanging around, you know this Vardy character, is actually quite good at football.

Settle a Centre Back Argument For Me

I'm not convinced Harry Maguire is even our best post-title centre back. Heinous inclusion.- 50 replies

Boss Scent & Armani Code. Prefer the Boss but other half prefers Code, so it's often that.

What's Rab Douglas up to these days is he still alive?
-
Don't worry, he supports the Scotch, he's just envious of our myriad depth
-
We spent years trying to convince Karl ****ing Darlow to play for Wales.

All of this is right but the defence needs many games to adapt to a new structure and manager again without pre-season. It's going to leak chances. A goalkeeper that literally cannot save a shot is going to be a bigger problem than one that can't play a pass more than ten yards. I'm assuming the same, that Iversen is so bad with his feet that it's a problem trying to play out and even probably going long. That he coughs the ball up so much we'd always be under pressure. But Ward literally cost three goals and a loss against one of the worst teams in the league. I refuse to believe Iversen's wonky distribution could have THAT much impact, especially with Vestergaard and Coady there to collect the short ball from him and it's not like Wolves pressed that hard.
-
I'd go further and say that, given his transfer fee, he's a strong candidate for the pound-for-pound worst player the club have had in my lifetime. Twelve million, I think, we paid. For a goalkeeper, in 2018.

You have to feel for the Wolves fans that think they've turned a corner
-
Was that an ironic cheer for Ward making a save?

Would be interested to know what Ruud's real thinking (as opposed to the political answer he'd probably give on TV) is towards Buonanotte.
-
Stolarczyk isn't fit. He's only just back from an injury, RVN mentioned him and said they're watching his progress. It definitely seemed to me that RVN considers him ahead of Ward from the way he spoke. At this point, having been overlooked by almost every Leicester manager, we probably have to accept that Iversen is just crap. Edit: granted there's crap and then this specific Ward performance mind. Probably wouldn't be 3 nil if the Birch was in goal.

Not sure I understand the subs if I'm honest
-
Danny Ward doing his utmost to get Leicester relegated twice is genuinely amazing tbf I'm waiting for him to one day reveal he's a world class keeper he's just a die hard Forest fan
-
I honestly don't think it's an exaggeration to say there's a greater than 50% chance it'd be 0 - 0 with Mads in goal.
-
And of course the guy that shouldn't even be playing scores.

JJ needs a long spell out of the team. Head has long gone. Managers need to stop hoping he'll play in to some kind of form. I normally cringe when people suggest Hamza play there but at this moment in time almost anyone would be better.
-
Oh I'm not letting JJ off the hook that was ****ing dire. But Ward then had plenty of time to adjust and he just awkwardly fell over away from the ball. He has the agility of a two hundred year old bull elephant.
-
Another classic Danny Ward jumping out of the way of the ball
-
What are you even supposed to say to that.
