  1. It's a loan and we're short of options. It's hardly like they've got our pants down and we're stuck with him. They're the idiots sending him off to make room for Nketiah.
  2. Just to be clear, nobody has mentioned the word obligation anywhere right?
  3. But then that's a problem whoever the striker is, as we've seen repeatedly. It's why I said buying a striker is an absolute waste of money if we don't sort the supply out first.
  4. Yeah but I think it's really easy to under state the fact he scored against Spurs. Time after time he does that. The finish might have been fairly straightforward but he was there. In the right place. Unmarked. Again. I'd take him over Calvert Lewin, Armstrong, Mateta, Delap, Muniz, Fullkrug, Awoniyi. It's not like every team in the league has a world class 9.
  5. I'd take Vardy, confident, with good service over a lot of teams first choice strikers in this league, it wasn't such a stupid comment. He isn't the Vardy that you cash smash it long to and have him chase the channels anymore but if you actually create chances in around the box his movement and finishing is still better than most. Biggest problem the year we went down is we created almost **** all for any of them.
  6. Narh that was the Egyptian
  7. Forest's business is crazy erratic and utterly revolving door.
  8. Gutted that's not an obligation. Broja for 30m would be peak Everton. Especially in their condition.
  9. I thought he was more of an attacking midfielder / winger?
  10. He's not even an actual striker, is he? And he's a long long way from being ready for first team football in the Prem. Get a grip people.
  11. In before the fee is announced to be more than Ioannidis and we all have a fit.
  12. Eh. Very mid. I'd be disappointed if he was our marquee signing frankly. Think he'll always struggle for double figures at this level.
  13. Percy hinting it's a loan, which is nice.
  14. If they pay 30 odd for Nketiah and we pick up Edouard for 10 or something to help it happen, I won't feel overly sore about that. Nketiah is unbelievably average.
  15. Massively.
  16. I think my one hint of positivity about Edouard is that when he first went to Palace, they were just honking. They created nothing, just weren't the right side for him. By the time they've started to actually improve and play some good football, he's just not the main man anymore because they made a pretty good signing in Mateta. He reminds me a bit of Daka in that he just got a run of pretty unfortunate circumstances when he first came to the club and it just unsettled his confidence. If he finds himself in a situation here where he HAS to be the main man because we don't have much choice then it might benefit him really. He'll have Bilal, Facundo, Mavididi and Fatawu around him and Winks ticking it over behind. If Cooper can get his head out of his arse and get us playing something vaguely resembling passable football he might kick start his career here and show a bit of the promise that got rave reviews at Celtic. That is clutching a bit though I fully concede.
  17. @AjcW who is his agent
  18. Removing comments that are just straight up name calling. Can we also keep in mind that at no point has Faes appeared to be anything other than professional and the only suggestion that he might want to leave has come from click bait rumour mongers.
  19. I'm assuming he's got a contact at Palace.
  20. I'll send my cousins round his mam's house for an autograph if you're that keen.
  21. If this is a loan, I like it more than Broja, Fofana, the awful Egyptian or even actually Jordan Ayew. If we've bought him for a shit load it'll be honking mind.
  22. Pretty sure Wymsey and / or his family have always had connections in and around the club. It just comes with being in certain economic circles He's always had the odd little nugget of info, he's just not actually trying to BE "an it", he's just passing on the odd thing he hears.
