  2. King Power bought the wrong club
  3. I knew you would
  4. This is probably one of the best claim to fame stories I've ever head. Absolutely spectacular. I'm genuinely envious. What a story.
  5. If this were truly Lemmy, the entire mountain in the background would need to be covered in Marshall stacks
  6. !!!
  7. Always been the inferior imps to Rothley.
  8. Yeah that's a good call I'll see what I can do
  9. I miss Enzo
  10. Yeah it's annoying isn't it? When you recommend a post with a tweet in it it ignores the embed. Whether or not that's default behavior or of its something Mark can change is a question for the boss.
  11. In fairness, Hazard was largely a product of a Belgian academy. But yeah he never played in their league.
  12. If we buy with an obligation the fee will count in next seasons PSR. That's why we'd do it. But we'd probably have to pay them a bumper fee for the convenience to us and inconvenience to them.
  13. I'd be very surprised personally.
  14. He did OK last season. He's about as ready for the Premier League as Alves and Braybrooke. People really need to stop putting the expectation on kids to save us. They hopefully all will have great futures but the best thing for them and us, both in terms of on field and their market values, is loan time getting played every week.
  15. Pretty true of half the squad Do think this year is set up to be extremely difficult and potentially damaging for Wout Faes. Think he's a classic example of a bomb scare defender that would have reasonable value to a dominant side that don't need a CB to defend that often. But I can see him costing us a lot of points and tanking his value. I like him but especially alongside Vestergaard I do worry.
  16. He's got no pound notes
  17. @FrankieADZ is on the verge of being promoted to @moore_94 tier.
  18. I just don't agree with this. I feel something similar about people getting hysterical about no manager wanting to join. If you're not in the Premier League, you've usually got a lot to gain by being in the Premier League. For a start, the wages are ridiculous. For seconds, the exposure is great and if the perception of Leicester is that we're a dumpster fire then you don't get too much stink on you if you struggle. We all still want Hamer, Sheffield were terrible. Marco Silva (and a lot of others) have been sacked by Watford and nobody blames him for it. You do a year at Leicester, Maresca has proven it's a good audition for a manager and if you're a player, you're probably in a strong bargaining position to get a suitable release clause in your contract these days. We've always been a stepping stone, we're just now more of one.
  19. It's not knee jerk to say he's clearly out of his depth, should never have been given the job and we're just wasting time because footballing decorum is to give a manager "time." There's no evidence at all of him having a functional plan and communicating it to the players. Remember when we came up with Pearson and we were struggling for points after the initial flury of excitement around the United game? We still looked like there was a plan, we were in games, we were often unlucky. It took deep in to the losing run for Pearson to lose the plot with that four defensive midfielder diamond away at Newcastle. This doesn't look like "let him cook" at all does it. You can't watch this and go "I see what he's trying to do, when it clicks we'll be great." It just looks like a manager that absolutely stumbled in to premier league management with a freak purple patch and is now out of his depth. Especially given that he's being asked to do something different here to Forest. Here he's being asked to back up all of his talk of playing progressive, possession based, attacking football. In football, it's always frowned upon to sack a manager without time served, substitute a player before half time, generally make any early change. But statistically, the earlier you make changes the better. I really hope we don't throw this season away out of politeness. **** sunk cost, just reverse the mistake and go approach a proper manager. **** it, Potter must have given up on England now. I'll have him third time lucky over this mess.
  20. Genuinely don't know where a win is coming from playing like this.
  21. Both goals absolutely atrocious defending. Both come from down Ricardo's side.
  22. ? What? The ref made a terrible call and the VAR over ruled it. That's exactly what its meant to do. We'd have lost that goal last year.
  23. Marco Silva 1 - 1 Andrew Hughes
