I think you're exaggerating a bit personally. Yes the penalty try and yellow was on the harsher side but it wasn't unwarranted. You've definitely seen them given. He was equally impatient with both teams. France's yellow at the end came about very, very quickly and should have been enough for England to win. It wasn't a brilliant ref performance but it wasn't a match winning / losing one.

France really uncharacteristically weak. You don't normally win games of rugby if you can't be dominant in the contact area. England just so much stronger than France atm. As entertaining as France can be, what normally makes them dangerous is their combination of skill and power. The later is completely absent this half. England have just manhandled them.

I don't think England have been defensively horrific and I don't think France as a team have really clicked yet. But both tries were just fantastic bits of stand out quality. Problem is they're capable of that constantly.

I'd have Winks on ASAP now. Mukasa hasn't had a great game anyway, JJ can push up in his space. But the defence look terrified to actually play the ball, we're not going to beat their press and get any thrust through the middle of the park if someone doesn't drop in, collect it from them and get us up the pitch. Like him or not, Winks gets the ball moving.
