I do think this is potentially melodramatic. The bottom line is, our match day revenue and commercial revenue still makes us easily one of the biggest clubs in this league. Even if KP can't particularly bankroll us anymore all it takes is them getting lucky on recruiting the right coach (and we'll still be very appealing to turn best this league has to offer) and we'll be back up in the mix. We've got no idea how good our sporting director is going to be yet. Or what sort of financial position we'll be in next year although one thing is pretty certain, our wage vs income ratio will be much healthier after the next lot leave.

Finally a result goes our way. Just in time for us to give Wednesday a rare win.

I'm not really sure where you get a minimum of four wins from when we're a point adrift tbh. It's not impossible that we only win won more match and that's enough if you throw in a few draws. We absolutely can't afford to let Pompey beat us. But other than that it's likely to go down to the wire. If we win four games remaining we'll be comfortably safe by a distance.
