  1. Every player we've ever signed would probably have preferred to go to a bigger, more fashionable club. It's pretty irrelevant if Juve won't accept what Roma can afford.
  2. The reason he hasn't signed (for anyone) is that nobody has agreed to pay a fee that Juventus are happy with.
  3. Can I just say, Peter Pizzeria and Gelato Village are as good as anything you'll find in Rome. If not better.
  4. Wesley Fofana Alex Disasi Benoit Badiashile Lesley Ugochukwu Christopher Nkunku Malo Gusto Malang Sarr He couldn't have picked a worse squad to be going back to. If the racism wasn't bad enough - and it is to be clear - the unbelievable stupidity is just additional drama for the media
  5. I mean he'll fit in well with the Chelsea fans. Lees so the Chelsea squad.
  6. It's not really anything new. Him agreeing a wage structure at Roma isn't a surprise and nor is him agreeing a theoretical deal with us. But it's irrelevant if Juve and Roma can't come to terms. Juve seem hesitant to sell him domestically at all and we probably can comfortably outbid Roma. Go and look at Roma's spending history since the new owner came in. It would be a significant departure from anything they've done before if they spend over 40m in a window and they've already spent 25m.
  7. KDH gave us 30m. Soulé would cost ~5m this year and ~15m in any rolling three year PSR window.
  8. One of these Italian journalists previously claimed Leicester and Soulé have informally agreed terms and it was just up to Juve and City to agree a fee. Honestly though for all we really know he could be minutes away from a move to Dinamo Tbilisi.
  9. I'm not joking with the Praet comparison. He has no end product at all. He's a pretty good dribbler, better than Praet, has deceptively good feet. But he's so ****ing average. I wouldn't be super excited by this if I'm honest.
  10. DENNIS II: THE RE-PRAETENING Coming Soon - Autumn 2024
  11. Just saying, Sid Meier's Pirates is on Steam and doesn't make you do any of that.
  12. Soule has been in Italy for four years, he's also an Italian citizen of Italian heritage, as a lot of Argentines are. He seems to be mates with Okoli who was his team mate last year, you'd imagine they communicate in Italian.
  13. Actually probably shouldn't tell jokes, apparently he's a qualified solicitor these days. Don't want to get @Mark in trouble.
  14. They're rolling 3 year periods, not fixed ones, so they never truly "end", one year just drops off. The year we got relegated and took massive financial losses (the year we're being deducted points for) still very much "counts." However, our amortisation and our wage bill have both reduced significantly, we've got a large amount of prize money for promotion, we sold Barnes, Madders and KDH and just made up a new company to be "sponsored" a silly amount of money by. So, yknow. Yes we can probably get ourselves back in to an amortisation hole with a few new £25 players but lets not act like we've got fat stacks to burn either.
  15. Meanwhile we've just got Charlie Savage and Lewis Koumas. Just waiting for Earnshaw Jnr to rock up at some Premier League academy and we're all set.
  16. Don't beat yourself up he's a bot.
  17. Fosse Hub is basically @Ryy @urban.spaceman @StanSP and @moore_94 all in one. Just lives on twitter and repeats any mention of Leicester. Doing God's work so the sane amongst us don't have to be on there at all.
  18. Wow he almost got through that entire thing with a straight face.
  19. I meaaaan.... straight back down?
  20. It just isn't rocket science. You don't need all the soul searching, head scratching and navel staring. All the various excuses and scapegoating aren't necessary, it's not like you're in a terrible disastrous position. Just get a competent coach that understands modern tactics. That's it. This one simple trick and you'll be amongst the favourites, legitimately, for the World Cup. The sport has changed a lot in the last 20 years. Actually, even in just the 15 years since Southgate finished his actual managerial career. The sport we grew up with was one in which individual brilliance, flair and skill really could win games, in which Brazil were dominant and the likes of Ronaldinho were great entertainers. Like it or not, the game now is all about systems, patterns of play and pre-rehearsed routines. People can bemoan that and wish for the olden days and I'm right there with them but when even Georgia, Slovenia, Austria et all can turn up at a major tournament and make nuisances of themselves by just being disciplined and organised at the back then you're going to need more than just individual ability to break that down.
