  1. 343. But better yet, drop the 3 CBs shit. It's garbage. If you need 3 centre backs to defend properly as a coach you've already done something wrong. No football team that aspires to keep the ball, play progressive, passing football should ever be wasting a position on the pitch on a third centre back. Did I mention I hate 3atb?
  2. Honestly I'm a bit surprised FoxesTalk's more eagle eyed posters didn't notice he was the trialist playing yesterday.
  3. Narh he won't. They're looking at cheaper options. I don't doubt Enzo wants him but they know they're about twenty million short of our valuation.
  4. It's happening guys. He's signing today.
  5. Honestly this is what terrifies me. The only slim hope we had is that Forest were such a dumpster fire with no track record of playing "his" football that he just had to improvise. But if he shows up here with the same garbage, ugh.
  6. Tbf given the standards of education in RCT, it's very possible they told him twelve weeks and he thought that was six months.
  7. I don't think we've given Cooper much remit over the recruitment staff. Glover is still here and will have rubber stamped any target you'd imagine. If he sees something in Okoli I'm happy to wait and watch. I'm not overly concerned about Ward yet. The Danes appear to either still be on holiday or only just back, I'm sure Mads will be first choice and Iversen is possibly being moved on. The tactics do concern me though. It's more square pegs round holes shit and for what? 3421 ffs?
  8. Narh mun, when I get a chance some are about Patson Daka.
  9. So all I've got to do is photoshop him in a Leicester kit and you guys will all think I'm a credible source?
  10. This is going to be ****ing horrific isn't it. I've got absolutely no optimism or enthusiasm at all. Last year, even when all the right personnel weren't available, Enzo had a clear system in mind that suited the players we either had or were having and he stuck to it. And it was a smart system, it worked. We started doing it straight away from the first friendly. I ****ing hate wing backs, it's nearly always shit and it's a complete waste of our best two attacking chance creating outlets. Who the **** looks at the squads performance last year and thinks the smart thing to do is change Mavididi and Fatawu's roles and play two strikers. I appreciate inverted full backs is still a slightly new and niche idea but it's a smart one, it gets you all the defensive cover you need and it let's your better ball playing attacking midfielders get forward in to wide areas instead of full backs who often aren't as good on the ball. Man is supposed to be a scholar of the game, how can he not look at an idea that's working and not realise it's better than bloody wing backs. Ugh.
  11. Please can we not. I hate transfer rumours at the best of times. Can we please not have threads based on social media follows. And that includes any twitter "itk" making a story or a tabloid writing off the back of it where the original source was a ****ing Instagram follow.
  12. Don't worry mun we'll sack him in October about when Chelsea sack Enzo and we'll be well primed to just get back to normal.
  13. It's alright interviewing and insisting he wants to play possession football but we should have been interviewing insisting a manager keeps some continuity with the system. Like or loathe Enzo, he struck gold with the shape. Got the best out of everyone.
  14. I'm sorry but that's tosh. It suited Daka perfectly, far more than it would have Werghost. When Daka came in to the team everything really clicked for a whole. He has the pace to both drop in but then also turn and punish the defenders for following and stretch the game vertically. It's exactly why it didn't work for Iheanacho and exactly why it would have been rubbish with Werghost. We wanted someone with the mobility to move the defence around and do both. You can throw whatever accusations you like at Daka, his finishing was wayward last season and I've said that multiple times. But his contributions to link up play were actually really good.
  15. Honestly my favourite #justleicesterthings of the last two decades is buying prolific headed goal scorer Islam Slimani and then spending half the season subbing him on to try and win games at the exact same time as we took off Marc Albrighton, whose only elite level attribute was his crossing.
  16. Show me a montage of him scoring goals that have bounced accidentally off his face or him winning a free kick without anyone within eight feet of him and I'm sold. Otherwise that's a massive reach.
  17. Other than one window in time where he lit it up at Wolfsburg in a much different league, he scores about one goal every nine months.
  18. Wout ****ing Weghorst is it 1995. It makes me so ****ing frustrated that caveman football would genuinely delight half of this place that I want to rip out my own toenails in anguish.
  19. Why is he Turkish
  20. Come on man, supporting Wales is hard enough without you putting the boot in.
  21. The negativity is that he won't cost 6 and Blackburn want 20. We'd probably all have him for 5 or so.
  22. I'd just like to applaud the comedic value of the wording though. I don't know if it's deliberate or not but it's brilliant. "Leicester City are looking to bolster their attack this summer but are looking at Neal Maupay instead"
  23. If we ever legitimately bid for Neal Maupay I'm going to walk to Seagrave and just scream abuse over the fence in the vague direction of where I think the data analytics team is.
