  1. The Ipswich comms are some of the most biased I've heard all season
  2. That's the kind of quality finish you get from a player with Champions League experience.
  3. As clinical as ever.
  4. Firstly, grow up and wind your neck in. Secondly, that's an absolutely ridiculous situation.
  5. Alright geniuses. For who? And I'm sorry but how many times has he had a fairly shit game this year then banged one top bins out of nowhere to save us? I mean, come the **** on.
  6. A hideously ugly hero shooter with bullet sponge enemies, eye bleeding visuals, sweatlord movement and "ranked" extraction from the people that brought you Destiny 2? I'm alright mate tbh
  7. The nerve you've got to have to make this claim when you almost lost to Wales Look, Scotland are brilliant at home but let's be honest they're about as Tier 2 as we are when they have to travel.
  8. Ipswich commentators talking about us frustrating them over the last few years and how they've been unfortunate against us. You what. Before this year we've played them off the park every time they played us, we battered them twice under Enzo, were a significantly better team than them and they survived every time with spawny, shit house, late equalisers?
  9. Ipswich do not defend like a top six team
  10. 3pts from 27 available
  11. Oh I'm 100% on board with starting Daka. I see him as our only actual option unless Rowett can build a shape around Mukasa at false nine which he almost certainly has no previous doing. Daka could miss five sitters every game and still be better than Ayew.
  12. Josh Low has Thomas number
  13. Yep that's it. I think Daka was trying to make space for Skipp to go himself and wasn't expecting the pass. The problem with that is Daka does stuff like this all the time. It looks selfless on paper but it's really just a symptom of his dreadful confidence these days. He almost looks like he's avoiding places he could score from. Vards was a great team player but he'd never be making room so Oliver ****ing Skipp could shoot he'd be making the vertical run off the centre back's shoulder, demanding to be played in.
  14. The ball was played behind him. The fact he missed it is Skipp's fault. What was Daka's fault was making an odd run in the first place that caused the error.
  15. We look the more dangerous. Famous last words obviously.
  16. Christ I miss Jamie Vardy
  17. I assume JJ isn't fit enough to start. It isn't that surprising given the length of his inury, think some of the reactions to that are a bit OTT. Not sure what Mukasa has done to deserve getting dropped for Reid mind.
  18. The endless well of your optimism sparks joy.
  19. I'm genuinely a bit outraged we still don't have a Top statue. We gave Vichai one for winning the league why doesn't Top get one for winning the FA Cup? We're so ungrateful.
  20. I do have concerns about whether there's enough wealth there to deliver on what they want to achieve long term, however that's not what would make me want them to sell up for the sake of it. It comes down to one multifaceted question for me that I'd like to ask Top. Is Jon Rudkin's position measured on performance of the club andwhat would it take for Rudkin to be removed? Like Rodgers with injuries, Rudkin has and will be Top's downfall. If Top has to sell up for us to get the overhaul we need at director level, then that's why I'd be strongly con sidering it.
  21. It absolutely wasn't "more than good enough." It was pretty awful and wasn't a surprise at all it went down. Could it have stayed up with a better coach? Yeah possibly but it was a much worse squad than the one we have now. Allen deserves a lot more stick for assembling as much of it as he did. Holloway was an easy target because his chipper personality grates on people, especially when things aren't going well, but it was a big ask to keep us up. I don't completely hate him and I don't think he'd even make my list of top 5 worst managers in my lifetime.
  22. If you're measuring managers as managers not just as head coaches (ie, their impact on the whole club not just on-field performance) then I don't think there's any argument here. It's Brendan Rodgers by a massive, massive, massive distance. Forget your hate for King Power for a moment, forget that Rudkin and Top enabled him and were ultimately responsible for letting him run riot. He took a club that had had been fairly successful in the transfer market, had built and given him a pretty decent squad and had a general philosophy of mostly signing assets that could be up-sold with room to grow both in talent and value and he said **** that. He implemented his "broken players" ideology, filled the squad full of his nonsense, horrifically mismanaged all of his own approved signings, plummeted everyone's value, tanked the squad's personality and then morale, erased all culture of graft, hard work and fight and then moaned about it. The financial problems we're still in now can be traced back to the wage bill he helped inflate for the players he got us to sign, plenty of whom aren't good enough even for this level. If we go down to League One this year with the highest wage bill ever to be relegated from the Championship, which is likely, to go with our record for the highest wage bill to ever be relegated from the Premier League then he'll deserve significant blame for both. We're still drowning now trying to tread water under the weight of his contributions to the club. Taylor, Pleat, Holloway, Allen and Co never, ever had this sort of lasting impact. Yeah, Rodgers had a "Director of Football" above him that shielded him from some of the responsibility on paper but we all know one of Rudkin's biggest failings has been surrendering control to his managers and that Rodgers was mostly pulling the strings. Liverpool knew how much of a disaster he was and curbed his influence there. We had no such sense. Was he our worst ever Head Coach? No. We've many worse, including those immediately before him and most since. But worst ever manager of the football club? For sure.
  23. I'd personally bin off all play offs in all leagues in all sports. Knock out competitions are for cups, not deciding your entire ****ing season. Infuriates me that you can top the table in rugby and not win the league at all. Top three should go up in the Championship, end of. **** cheap manufactured drama, give me actual meritocracy. Imagine working your arse off all year, finishing third in the table out of 24 teams and missing out on Promotion to the 8th place side you finished some 20 odd points ahead of and beat home and away purely because one of your best players happens to be injured for the final or the ref ruins the game with a terrible decision or some other bit of spawny, bullshit luck you couldn't avoid.
  24. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c4g00mr00zdo Imagine finishing 8th in the Championship and getting to the Premier League. Stupid.
