  1. Every reply in this thread is part of the **** all else happening process.
  2. Greggs in the city about to double its profits.
  3. Every single game I watch us put crosses and cut backs in to the box that nobody is anywhere even vaguely near because we don't have a player with striker's instincts. Fatawu alone creates a **** tonne of chances when there's somebody to actually aim at. His touchline, wedged, back post crosses would be golden with someone like Haaland or Ekitike attacking them. Bruno Guimaraes would be a significantly better shout than Rice for his presence in the final third but I'd still absolutely, 100% take a striker.
  4. We're very obviously not selling him today.
  5. Sure but let's not pretend we aren't going to hire some dullard manager that's going to play the "experienced" Aribo ahead of Page because he's more concerned for his job prospects than developing our young players.
  6. You mean the King of Barnet?
  7. The extreme probability of him taking minutes from Page is depressing.
  8. I think if we were looking to work outside our budget and splurge again in a panic, we wouldn't be bringing in a 12 year old loanee, 500 year old sicknote Jamaal Lascelles and Joe ****ing Aribo. This is the deadline day of a club desperately trying to not spend anything.
  9. But our wagebill to revenue ratio is harrowing and needs to come down, that's not really money we can spend.
  10. Remember that time everyone on FoxesTalk thought Jurgen Klopp was coming here...
  11. It's not really possible I'm wrong tbh. We don't have any money.
  12. We have no idea if it's a good signing because it won't be defined as a good signing purely based off how good a defender Jamaal Lascelles is. If he's signing on an 18 month contract, at most, and on a modest wage and if he stays fit enough to be available for 70% of our competitive matches in that period then it's a great bit of business. If he's signing on a 3 year contract with a Premier League wage and doesn't have the legs or the health in general to be available when we need him then it's a ****ing terrible signing.
  13. Noone here really knows. He's so young and untested that ultimately the next few years of his life will define him and he isn't there yet. He could absolutely come in and start every game from now til the end of the season as a 9. Equally, the club could think Jordan Ayew is doing a good enough job leading the line and that our priority is replacing Ramsey because of his injuries and the intent is to play him at 10 instead of our own youngster. We'll find out over the coming weeks, I guess.
  14. @Mark 8, 9, 10. Aribo, Ayew, BDCR. You gonna watch any more games this season?
  15. I don't see us pulling off any shocks. It'll be like August. If their name hasn't come up yet they probably aren't signing. Just like we knew it was Ramsey, James and Carranza - it'll be Lascelles, Mukasa and Aribo.
  16. Were there not always rumours that Indykaila was one or several actual journalists just taking the piss anyway?
  17. One of two things seemed to happen in the last 18 months with Indykaila, either they were always somewhat in the know but chose to never post anything sensible because it was historically an account deliberately set up to lampoon transfer rumours. Or they've been around the internet transfer rumour space so long that, even starting off as a joke, they've somehow managed to cultivate a few genuine sources. Either way, they've started posting actual, sensible rumours that turn out to be true and being verified by other tipsters.
  18. He's also crap?
  19. Alternatively, playing as a 9: Interesting that he seems to consistently captain their side.
  20. Not sure if this has been posted, can't be arsed trawling through all five pages. Gets involved in absolutely everything here. It's from this year, few months ago, and he's playing very much as a deep dropping 10. Runs absolutely everything. Reminds me a bit of Page but with a tad more confidence (albeit he's playing at U19s here.)
