Can't hurt to get him half a season in the Championship match time in preparation to get his confidence and form back and have some of his wages covered. I don't think it's entirely unlikely. Let him cook. If he's playing well, developing and building confidence then keep him as far away from our dumpster fire as possible for the rest of the season. If he has any future here, it's not this year.
