Always cracks me up how much the British football community think the EFL is a tough, rough league where you've got to be a warrior that handle it. Especially given how many of those same people probably think South American football is soft. Absolute ****ing nutters this lot.

Of course. The option is just a pre set price agreement between the clubs.

Realistic Managerial Replacements
Finnegan replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
Some of the takes in here from you lot make Rudkin and Top look competent. Christ. The average football fan is thick as shit really. -
Eh maybe but he's the quickest fix and he's obviously not very good. His decision making has been poor from the start, it's his tactics that have us playing a passive mid block with the lowest sprints and intensity in the league. He's shocking, quite frankly, his footballing vision is alarmingly similar to Ruud and always has been. He's not a great coach and needs to be replaced.
-
The only way he's still in a job come Monday is if we can't afford to sack him.

It's not so much that it "breaks" it's just that the update overwrites the files so you just have to put them back in the folder after a patch.

What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?
Finnegan replied to LeicesterBran's topic in Music and Gaming
Probably my only issue with the game - and what holds me back from playing it more - is QOL / UI related gear fear. I don't actually mind losing my stuff, it's not the thought of loss that makes me paranoid. It's the effort involved with replacing it. The game desperately needs the ability to save load outs that you can quick-craft/buy from the menu. Y'know, I've got an inventory full of stolen Toros, I've got my Anvil and Venator blueprints, I can craft and level up replacements for my gear I just can't be arsed spending 20 minutes doing it all only to go in a round and potentially lose it in seconds. That's the part that does me. -
Yeeaaaah, maybe try that now mun. This is the problem with Scotland, got high on beating England during England's banter years and thought it was a bigger watershed moment than it was. Said before and I'll say again, Scotland realistically have a ceiling and they're very close to it. Don't mistake this for hate, I absolutely love the Scottish fans, it's brilliant whenever they come to Cardiff, they're a great team to watch that have come so, so far since the 00s. Plus, I'm thoroughly jealous of how much their union have their shit together. The mileage that Scottish rugby have gotten out of exceptionally limited resources is crazy. The fact that a rugby nation of Scotland's size has even gotten to a place where they can feel disappointed at falling short of winning things is remarkable. But I'm sorry, the media absolutely don't help. This narrative that Scotland should be winning things is nuts. Townsend isn't wrong, there is an entitlement to an extent to this notion that Scotland should be beating the best. Like, what on earth was all that hype to the build up of the All Blacks game? Competing for third / fourth in the Six Nations and pushing for world cup quarter finals makes absolute sense for a country with Scotland's resources. There's no shame in that. There's a reason you're so dependent on over seas converts. Think Townsend had done a seriously under appreciated job. Sure, a truly, truly elite head coach might take you a step further and perhaps be the difference that gets you the odd Six Nations win in a favourable year but why would a coach at that level turn up at Scotland when there's far more attractive jobs in world rugby? Think Scotland fans desperate for Toonie to go are due a bit of a reality check personally.

Dunno. There's always two ways to look at a situation like that. Of course there's the risk of getting the stink of the job on you. But the other way of looking at it is it's sort of a free shot. If the entire football community knows the job is a car crash before he even rocks up then you could say he either looks exceptional for any progress he can make or he doesn't and those in the know don't exactly judge.

You can't fault that commitment to realism to be honest. Both in Leicester's horrific decision making and Timo Werner finding his level.

Correlation =/= causation. Especially against such a ridiculous sample size.

Flash backs to classic PES commentary. "Scoring the goal there is what they would have wanted!"

A confident Daka is well and truly good enough to get a goal or assist every other game at this level. That's not a particularly big ask, he did something like 0.99 last time we were in this league, albeit over less than half of the season. He's not the best striker in the league but he's the best we've got, regardless of what that says about Rudkin and Top. Be nice if he can kick on from here but it's not 100% on him, is it? We create next to **** all for any of our strikers. At least he's the most likely to actually get in to any goal scoring position by virtue of being the only one without concrete boots.

We were defending a lead. It made sense.
-
Eh. Its cognitive bias though isn't it.
-
I wouldn't really have an argument with Asmir Begovic tbh.
-
I guess we're holding on to a lead and Thomas is stronger and harder working tbf. Don't think he's much beyond that though.
-
I don't really see anything at all in Silko Thomas tbh.
-
That Daka touch map is immense. Might not have the complete abundance of quality but some work rate.
