  1. It's not that I love Leeds, I'd laugh if they went down. But anything that gets Forest relegated is fine by me.
  2. Really? I want Leeds, Fulham, West Ham, Burnley and Wolves to get every single point they can to be honest.
  3. I wouldn't bet against Argentina particularly, they're a fantastically entertaining side who can beat anyone on their day. But they absolutely won't be favourites against either England or Ireland.
  4. Behave.
  5. I dunno man, looks like the usual English easy waltz to the final for me. They've got to beat Wales, who are lucky to even be a second seed, then they get to avoid South Africa, New Zealand and France
  6. You've got to be an idiot or on the troll to claim Bouba has been a better signing overall than Daka. They've both been terrible signings but there's levels.
  7. Jesus. This statement applies to both your original question and this reply: It's not that deep.
  8. We have some ****ing wet fans Sakes
  9. Jesus christ. Was this written by a Russian bot farm? Patriotism?
  10. Obviously love MON but comparing Celtic to us is daft. Celtic obviously have by far the best squad in the league and just needed any old coach with decent man management who could wind them up and essentially just let them get on with playing. Our lot need considerable coaching and MON is very behind the times.
  11. Rudkin thinks he's a character from The Vikings
  12. Obviously what I'd love to see is a directional change, it absolutely infuriates me that we have a front three of Daka, Mavididi and Fatawu sitting in front of the likes of JJ and Reid and we use a passive mid block. It's absolutely criminal not having a high press when the two attributes that undeniably define those three players is pace and workrate. We should be topping the charts for sprints, intensity and pressing actions not propping up the table. But, lets be honest, we'll sack Cifuentes and then replace him with some other coach that is sold to Top and Rudkin as "progressive" by whichever agency we're whoring for at the moment. I've lost any optimism for actual change while Top is here. Might change if we suprise everyone with a genuinely impressive appointment to technical director but I assume our methodology for finding one of those will very much resemble our approach to recruiting head coaches. So shit.
  13. 1. Come on, Pooper, are you 12? 2. Smith was "anyone will do to steady the ship", not really a long term appointment. 3. Puel, Rodgers, Maresca, Cooper, Ruud and Cifuentes were all hired under the expectation that they'll play football the "right way", which to Top is passing football. We know there's a massive lack of football intelligence at the club, all of those men had massively different footballing styles and it was naive to lump them in together but on a superficial level they were all considered to be "possession" managers and that's why they were hired. I don't believe Kovac would have really been in the running any more than Dyche has ever seriously been considered by the club. He has quite a clearly defined style of play and it's not what Top wants, whether people like that or not. Rohl is the only real outlier we've apparently considered and I think it's worth pointing out he didn't ACTUALLY get the job and we don't know if we really, actually did favour him over Cifuentes.
  14. I'm not sure you actually read the post you responded to?
  15. I'd personally doubt how much he was genuinely "in the running." He has quite an established, well known style of play that is not what Top wants. Just paper talk, fan speculation and people reading in to betting odds.
  16. Would that be Niko Kovac, manager of Borussia Dortmund?
  17. I'm surprised by how many people seem surprised tbf. He's always been an absolute thug.
  18. is Paqueta back on the spot fixing? Cos that's the stupidest red card I've ever seen
  19. I don't agree. There's obviously a big difference between a kid like Abdul compared to a Faes or Vestergaard that's come from a country next door with very little cultural variation, that's significantly older with way less culture shock coming here.
  20. He's a kid that's travelled half the way across the world to play professional football. The bigger idiot is definitely the muppets arguing with him online, not Abdul. Leave him alone and let him just learn his trade.
  21. Can't really see him going from the Copa Libs final to bottom half of the Championship for a team spiraling, so it's sort of irelevant. Did look like an absolute unit and a bit of a thug, though. More scrap in him than any of our lot. Certainly wouldn't say no.
  22. Felipe Luis looks more like he should be headlining the second stage of Download with his melodic hardcore band.
  23. Full on salmon tackle
  24. Jesus christ You can tell none of them are getting enough oxygen to the brain up there
