So who should we be playing at centre half tonight is my point, that would make everyone happy?

Wow please don’t! There are no sufficient centre halves at the club that anyone wants to see play for us though?

I’m not applauding. But Martin can’t win. Put this team out people are moaning. Put players in that don’t wanna be here or that the fans don’t wanna see play for us again. People moan. For where we are right now and what we can do with the squad available tonight, I’d love to see what other people would come up with as an alternative.

Not as such, personnel. People would moan that Faes, Okoli and Souttar are playing. So who else do we put there?

What else do you expect when two of the people you’re happy to see not in the squad play there, one centre half has an ACL injury. Who else can we play there?

Annoying to hear them go on such much about Palmer not being at the World Cup. He had a crap season and was injured for most of it.

Been a good watch. Robert Sanchez is woeful. Still cannot believe Calvin Bassey starts every week in the prem. I hate seeing Austin MacPhee pop up on the screen every time there’s a set piece.

First friendly for my lads team today. Lost 7-5 but was a decent/fair enough game. Lost a few over the summer so we had 3 new faces today and they all seem like good boys and decent players. Opposition parents were absolutely awful though. Had this one woman who was telling our players that they couldn’t stand in the opposition half when we had a goal kick. But she’s a ref so she knew the laws apparently, lo and behold she was wrong. Our manager had to tell her to shut up at one point. Walked past at the end of the game and she was on another rant saying “this is why she doesn’t coach, because it’s full of blokes who think they know it all because they’re blokes”. Embarassing stuff.

No surprise, but great to hear. It’s always the entitled people that have a moan. Well done all on another great display.

Our system is square pegs in round holes. All the right things are being said and envisioned but we have a keeper and 2 centre halves that cannot play out from the back and instantly put ourselves under pressure. Issue number 1. One of our full backs isn’t good enough to play in this system. Issue number 2. When we finally get into a decent position, the ball gets played backward when there’s someone in the box. Issue number 3. When we get into decent position but there’s no one in the box, the ball gets crossed into the box. Issue number 4. When we get into decent position and there’s no one in the box, there’s also no willing runners to want to try and get into the box. Issue number 5. We don’t have one player that’s up for a physical battle. Issue number 6. Any player that feels like they can handle the physical battle, gets bullied. Issue number 7. Every team that comes here is going to sit in, knowing that we’re probably not going to be able to break them down due to zero focal point and 100% predictability, making us so easy to defend against. Issue number 8. Every team that comes here is going to sit in and hit us on the break, knowing that we are going to be all over the place at the back and it’s like the parting of the seas when they come forward. Issue number 9. Most of them thought they’d walk this league. Issue number 10.
