  1. Always reminds me of Ross Barkley, build, mannerisms, powerful running.
  2. Free entry on Sunday apparently.
  3. Think pretty much everyone is expecting Wrexham away. Regardless of who it is, it’s gonna be televised.
  4. The word around is that they really rate Bashir. Wouldn’t be surprised if Ahmed tours though as he’s an extra batting option which we are going to need.
  5. Buzzing for it too. In the Hollies for this!
  6. Superb win. Plenty of people questioning the call to chase myself included, a record chase now achieved. Even more astonishing when really India were always ahead in the game, even at the start of play today. A few dropped catches and two dismal collapses from India seemingly costs them the game. First time a team has lost a test when they’ve scored 5 centuries.
  7. The support is amazing from them, but as a group you won’t find many that are more clicky.
  8. Root is the man for that. He’s perfect for the more explosive batters to bat around, has held so many innings together when it’s been needed the most.
  9. That reverse seeep had been pissing me off knew it was gonna get a wicket eventually
  10. I’m sure he’d be happy to take them. Silly from Brook.
  11. Why did they open with Crane?
  12. No point in us declaring. Get as big a lead as possible then try and skittle them out. Looks like Derbyshire are probably going to win. Gloucs still 70 odd behind with only 7 wickets remaining.
  13. It’s one you’d expect any elite fielder to catch though in all fairness as you’ve said. Rain coming down. Would expect England to accelerate a little bit now. Still plenty of time left in the day of course.
  14. Perhaps because he never has
  15. Correct. A lot of players now use private coaching to get them in shape for pre season.
  16. Where’s the option of neither for or against?
  17. Is there anything worse when you’re watching cricket and someone who has no idea about the game asks you “who’s winning?!” 😩😂
  18. Whilst Dyche might not be everyone’s cup of tea (I get it) what we will get, is discipline, experience, a clear way of playing. He’s done it at championship level before. I also don’t think we are in too much of a position to be kicking up a fuss of who comes in, with what’s happened inside the club off the pitch over the last few years, we aren’t all that an attractive pull. On the pitch if we keep our attacking threat it’s more than capable in the championship, which is something Dyche hasn’t really ever had. More than anything right now, we need some sort of stability and a rebuild. You won’t find many better that are currently available out there than Dyche. You can all show your displeasure should he be appointed, but as a club we can only blame ourselves for that. We should never be in the position we find ourselves in now, from where we were.
  19. It’s a great and fairly balanced post, and I agree. Not being negative at all but certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see us on a transfer ban.
  20. I’d say 55/45 in India’s favour at the end of play today.
  21. England with a lovely 3-1 win against Spain. Netherlands in the semis on Wednesday.
  22. I’m going day 1 Edgbaston. Think ticket was £120. Add your booze, food and travel it’s easily double that. Always a great day but it is starting to get a bit silly. Paid £60 at Trent Bridge 7 years ago for a day at a test.
  23. I’ll take credit for that wicket
