Billionaire American chairman who is also chairman of Fidelity Insurance which is a fortune 500 company. Fidelity Insurance is massive. Little old Bournemouth have a big backer.

25m sounds fair. 15m with 2.5m add ons seemed like we were having our pants pulled down.

He had a higher goals per minutes on the pitch than Aguero when we signed him and has been a sub pretty much all the time he has been here apart from a few times he's been given runs of games and he's always scored. If we can sort his contract out then I've no problem keeping proven Kels over unproven Piroe if all else is equal. He's been behind Aguero at Citeh and behind Vardy with us. When he plays he scores.
-
If true that does seem a very good price for Piroe.

Dolphin and Sharky battling for the RW position.

Better we only play him in the rain. Maybe that's why they say his finishing composure is Zero. He's dehydrated.

I actually think he would be a decent signing for Palace. They are set up very traditional in defence and don't care about having a Goalkeeper who is good with his feet. As a shot stopper and general Goalkeeper he's probably a very good fit for Palace and vice versa. This could be like a Schlupp transfer where he doesn't quite make it here but becomes a very important player for them.

Yeah he really was. We should have known that our first Brazilian was going to be a flop but it was exciting until after a couple of games in. I always though Lucas was the worst Brazilian I'd seen in the Premier league. He was massively overated although I know other people will think he was decent. I think Rodgers played him at Liverpool and he used to always give dangerous free kicks away around the box. Terrible player but yes Tete was even more shit.

He started in a cup final win at 20 years old and had a great game. He's 22. I think it's far too early to say he's not good enough or versatile enough. He just needs to go on loan somewhere where he will play in a system somewhat similar to the one we are trying to develop so that he can learn what's needed and come back a better player for it. Its not just a case of loaning him out for the sake of it we need to loan him to the right club.

Foster just retired because he conceded 5. That's the only thing. Imagine if it did happen and he concedes 4 or 5 on his first game which they have been. Everything has an opposite, he managed last season to find the opposite to the Schmeichel starfish and somehow retreat into his own body.

Deschamps was one of the best defensive midfielders of all time and Busquests was a magician playing in the kind of role we have Winks in. Anyway, that aside, I know what you mean. Signing a player like him then playing him in a totally different position was terrible management and typical Rodgers. If Soumare ever had a chance of making it with us he wasn't given a chance to show it and it's too late now. Signing him in the first place was a mistake if we weren't going to play him in the same position he played at Lille but anyway what's done is done. He isn’t happy here and he needs to go somewhere else, he may do much better in a league like the Italian league. If he could get a move back to France that would probably be the best move for him to settle again but he won't get the wages.

Iversen is the one I'm surprised we haven't had offers for or hasn't left already. He's actually a decent keeper and could play in the Premier league for a team that doesn't want to play out from the back. When he won POTS at Preston I remember their manager being asked about him staying and him basically saying he would love to sign him but he's 20m pounds in today's market. That was clearly getting carried away but he's definitely a 10m pound Keeper to someone who wants one maybe 15 for a Premier league club. Ward. Our only hope would be if some team in the championship wanted a loan. He might be better in this league maybe. I've just never seen a GK make themselves so small. He was Wales number 1 so someone might take him on loan but its unlikely.
-
It was terrible scouting again though as he has only scored 1 professional goal in his entire career so far and it's not like he makes a load of chances. You might get away with that in France but he doesn't seem to have any stats that suggest he can play as anything other than a defensive midfielder and he can't play there either. I don't know what he actually is other than a really poor CM by every possible metric other than occasionally he breaks lines but even then all you can hope for is he gives it to someone that can actually play.

Thanks. Yeah I got the first 3 games but today's is nowhere to be found. The subscription sounds the way to go.
-
Thanks. The first 2 games were fine and I was able to watch easily but I can't find this anywhere so I'll have to look at getting a subscription.
-
The what? I live overseas at the moment and if there is a stream for each game I would be very interested.

And that right there is exactly why players like Soumare get a hard time from the fans and rightly so. Nobody begrudges them earning big money if they put a shift in. Even if they aren't good enough quality wise, but work hard, fans will tolerate it as that's on recruitment but there is nothing worse than supporting a club and seeing a player out there on the pitch that most people would give anything to be able to do and see them overweight, not running, not tracking back and looking like they don't care and yet still be taking astronomical wages relative to the fans from the club. Certain things should be a given as a professional footballer. Be in shape, be on time, Be fit unless injured and work hard.

Ndombele looked class for lyon to the point Spurs paid 62m for him. A lot of transfers from France work but a lot fail too. It just hasn't worked out. Be that because he can't settle or his game isn't suited to the league or whatever it is. We just need to try and recoup as much as possible. The thing with Soumare is his work rate is atrocious, he jogs back when the team loses possession and it might be worth sticking with a transfer that hasn't worked but they are still putting in the effort there's just no point when they don't. He doesn't want to be here or in this league.
-
Danny Ward is the biggest flop of all time. 12m, a load in wages and if anyone other than him plays in goal last season we stay up so you can't get a more expensive flop than that.

Who are you most annoyed at regarding relegation?
desertfox2 replied to Get Carter's topic in Leicester City Forum
It was so easily avoided so the board for buying the snake oil and Rodgers for selling it to them. -
The world's gone mad. Its the same we paid for Vardy and Mahrez ffs.
-
Lol exactly. Suddenly better after selling their best players.
-
Transfer fee and wages. No question there would be takers otherwise but outside of the prem the most money he's going to get is here unless a Saudi club suddenly becomes interested.
-
They won't they will pay the 2.5m loan fee then offer 15m lira to sign him on a permanent if he does well.

All a cunning plan by the owners for the club shop to save us from FFP by getting names printed on the backs of shirts.
