Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
moore_94 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum

I worry with Ruud that it doesn't take much for a player to piss him off to get banished from the squad whilst he will still with continue with other players who should be nowhere near it Soumare and Faes getting to play week in week out when they should be nowhere near even the match day squad - or even in Soumare's case he literally got dragged at half time and then called out by the manager, misses a game but then comes straight back in and looks like the same useless lazy fecker as usual Sounds like this was actually a bit of a problem for him at PSV as well - starting and persisting with players who clearly need to be dropped His man management just seems quite weird to me - is it going to be a case of "its my way or the high-way" or playing favourites?

Unfortunately it looks like it is incredibly likely we are going to be stuck with a vast majority of the same crap! Someone strong isn't going to make much difference at getting rid of all the overpaid pillocks throughout the squad
-
I genuinely don't think you can even compare the records of Cooper and Ruud fairly for this season either Yes Ruud may have beaten both Southampton and Ipswich but both of those games had pretty much nothing on the line and weren't really competitive Southampton actually put up much more of a fight against us under Martin compared to whatever that was from them against us the other week I believe it would be useless to try and use those games as a barometer for how he would do in the Championship
-
Personally no I don't think it would with Ruud I know we would have gone under Cooper and I don't think it would have been much better at all if we persisted with him, but I also don't think we would've set that record either - that is all on Ruud for me I don't rate his tactics at all, an even semi-decent manager with these shite players would've at least got us going along being able to at least score 1 goal in 9 games, Ruud somehow managed to completely rip that out of the squad Ruud is done at this club for me - I will never be able to come around to liking him as our manager He genuinely tried to play Daka as an attacking mid - the blokes a tactical clown As much as I also don't like Martin I do somehow think he would actually do a decent job in the Championship with our squad because it suits how he will want to play (a bunch of tippy tappy wusses), but I don't want him either if that would be possible

There is a big difference between struggling due to what the manager before you did and what Ruud managed, that record we set is unforgivable and should not be so easily brushed aside We were quite literally the worst team in the top flight EVER during that period

Todays Result - Saturday 24th May Championship Playoff Final: Hamza Choudhury (6.6 - 112 mins) - Sheff Utd 1-2 Sunderland That was the last game of the season for all of our players out on loan Will be doing a roundup of all the loans sometime over the rest of the bank holiday

Not his job at all to try and defend the Sunderland player running through the middle of the pitch Moore shouldn't have given the ball away and Souza should've stepped out to Watson Hamza had a good game, goal was not his fault at all
-
I would prefer a manager who could potentially go on to lead us in the Prem as well Unless he has completely changed his tactical ideas that it is Plan A and that is it (as has been the case in all of his jobs so far) I cannot see it going well if he does get us up and no chance will we sack him when we would need to
-
But they wouldn't have any points this season without him

On our current good form "We have been working on development and preparing for next season, closing cycles and bringing positivity for the supporters. My focus is to do that for one more game." To the Leicester fans "I would like to thank them for their ongoing support, away and at home. We want to give them something to cheer about on Sunday, that’s the most important thing." On facing Bournemouth "We are preparing a team down to their specifics – it’s a quick and strong team with lots of dynamics. It’s a quality side and a great challenge for us." On Vardy leaving Seagrave "He came in on Wednesday, not to train but he was in the building. He went past all the departments and all the people for a chat and to say thank you. Today is the first day without him." Injuries The Manager was able to confirm on Friday that we will ‘go to Bournemouth with a similar squad’, confirming no new injuries in the camp, but we will be without Vardy. “In the way we play, I think it won’t change a lot,” the Dutchman said, discussing the frontman position for this weekend. “With the 10 players around the striker position, how we want to play on and off the ball, filling the position with another striker won’t require a lot of difference in the type. “Of course we need to decide who does that. Patson Daka is a type who also makes the deep runs, he is also quick in transitions, and I think there it can continue.”

Van Nistelrooy was also asked if he had a message for the fans travelling to Bournemouth this weekend
