  1. Sheff Wed look to be doing well from the stats?
  2. 2-2 Good goal from Jayden Joseph Intercepted a pass on the half way line and ran with it, avoided a couple of tackles and scored from the edge of the box
  3. Power imbalance and stuff like that with him being the manager
  4. Proper mess in Red Bull isn’t it? First reports in Jeddah now are that Marko has been instructed by Red Bull head office not to talk to the media. Talking openly to the media now can be seen as undermining authority. Red Bull is also said to have previously started an internal investigation into the origin of the 'leak'.
  5. Under 21s are currently drawing 0-0 away against Everton Ward, Cover, Grist, Wormleighton, Lindsay, Raikhy, Briggs, Cartwright, Richards, Ewing, Thomas Subs: Doherty, Joseph, Braybrooke, Popov, Pennant
  6. Won’t be in charge tomorrow against Liverpool
  7. The decision making in many different areas throught the club especially including financial control has gone wildly out of line and it needs getting back under control There is no guarantee of course you would get that with new ownership, but the problem is there has also been zero indication that the top level at this club currently can or will be able to do that As such it pretty much feels like the only way we could possibly ever get that kind of change and the club being able to get back onto a path of progression is by them selling up, for the past few years everything about the club just seems to be getting worse and worse Of course I do see the other side where you will also run the risk that you could get new owners who are happy to come in, load the club up with debt, asset strip it, use it to funnel money into their pockets directly from the club etc. and there will always be that element of risk with such a big change to ownership Whatever happens this season with FFP and promotion though there needs to be some kind of change at the top of the club - whether that is KP selling, new investment, directors being replaced or whatever I would love it if King Power/Top could turn this all around and get us back on track for actual progression with a clear vision in how we operate without it all happening again, but I just don't get that feeling at the moment that can happen Surely we can all agree that SOMETHING needs to happen at that top level - not just one of these poxie post failure reviews where seemingly none of those responsible have paid for it
  8. Enzo Maresca Pre-Match Press Conference vs Hull Maresca on injuries with Vardy being managed and not in training “Kasey is still out. Jamie hasn’t trained. He just needs to rest a little bit. We’ll see if he’s available for the session. Dennis is still out. “Kasey it’s the same problem he had in the past. A bit less than the previous one. Hopefully he can be two or three weeks. “It’s not an injury for Jamie. It’s a matter to manage him because of his age. He didn’t train with us in the last two days." Maresca on Coady v Vestergaard as Dane returns from suspension “Always difficult, not only now because Conor played and we kept a clean sheet. Even before it was difficult because he’s a great player for us. We’ve had many clean sheets with Jannik too. The important thing is we have everybody available.” What do you know about finances? "I have been told the same that you can read everywhere. It’s not something I am paying attention to. We’ll see in the next weeks.” Can it be a distraction? “No, to be honest. We have to be focused. At the same time, it’s something we don’t like. We have 10 more games that’s the most important thing for us. In the next days, we’ll see what happens. It’s something I can’t control, and so there’s nothing to do.” More important to get promotion now? “We always said that getting promoted is something important. Because I don’t know what’s going on in the next days, I don’t have the feeling that it’s more important.” Are points deductions taking enjoyment out of football? "It’s so complicated. They tried to explain to me but I stopped them because it was so complicated. Even if they use social media, so they read information, and this can be bad for the players. They are intelligent.” Maresca on promotion race and not setting target with 10 games to go “We are close and have 10 games to go. We have to focus game by game and then we’ll see at the end. If you start to think about how many wins you need, it’s a big mistake. You could win six and they could win 10 of 10. QPR and Sheffield Wednesday are winning. Everybody is fighting to survive. Every game would be difficult.” Maresca on beating Sunderland and ending three-match losing run “I didn’t see the players worried before that game. The three defeats, I don’t think we deserved one of them. The Sunderland one was the one we didn’t create so many chances. We can’t control the result, just the way we want to play. Sometimes there is no space, like QPR at home. I saw them happy after Sunderland. But it’s a matter of balance. There is still 10 games and 30 points, so it’s still very long, unfortunately for us.”
  9. Feel sorry for Enzo Just about to do his press conference for Hull and you just know he is going to be getting asked by quite a few different journos about all this when it shouldn't be him the one in the spotlight answering stuff about it at all
  10. Give the Polish wall a go, can’t be any worse than last time we sold our first choice and gave the back up a go surely
  11. Say this is correct, would we need to sell a player (that is still on their first contract like Kristiansen) for £8-10m more than what is left on their current book value? Or could we sell him for £8-10m and be sorted? Or is this where it would basically need to be someone on their second contract or homegrown like JJ or KDH?
  12. The loans from them have been for getting tv money of future seasons (not guaranteed) and future owed instalments on sold players (guaranteed) early So not too sure we would be able to deduct that
  13. Fine from EFL (if we are promoted) and points deduction from Prem
  14. Both are based on promotion but only if they each make a certain number of appearances/starts as well
  15. Good article from The Athletic about it all Some of the best players in the Prem are incredibly one footed, just like KDH
  16. Should be getting more than that more him as well when you consider Chelsea had to pay up to about £4m for a 14 year old and Nyoni has already had first team involvement
  17. Team has had a few changes with the latest Fantasy player upgrades I have Werner on the bench - can’t put him in ahead of Eusebio and keep full chem
  18. At least it looks like about half the league could be getting points deductions pretty soon
