Then because I couldn't really find much else to spend money on and I had about £100m in my transfer budget (before I had even sold Kock or Lithgow) I decided to drop a club record fee of £75m (previous record was £40m) on a new centre back. Definitely worth it though with how good he is, especially with how hard it can be to find good newgen centre backs on this game. I have still ended up with around £50m and £100k to go wonderkid hunting with as well!
