Some of the negative comments about Soumaré in the match thread before the game just blew my mind. He was excellent again today. People need to understand he's not a CDM, which is why he'll be even more effective if we get Ndidi back alongside him. His ability to drive with the ball and ability to take the ball under pressure and move it on is going to be crucial for us moving forward.

No pressure on the ball for the cross, Faes lost his man and then JJ fails to cover for Faes. But, yeah, let's keep playing the same defenders and expecting different results.

I was willing to give him a chance but I'm now convinced he's out of his depth or, if we're being kind, not suited to the circumstances. Rohl would be a good shout. Plays attacking, high tempo football and seems to be a good motivator. He's managed to get Sheff Wed close to the play offs with a largely limited squad and a dysfunctional ownership. When he took over last season they were horribly adrift and looked doomed to the drop.

Sums up the absolute sh1tshow that has been our transfer business over the past few years.
