Pep has this outburst all the time. My personal view is that both do it to instil a siege mentality, so finding something to be negative about as a means to motivate performances. Think about it, with human nature being what it is, it must be difficult to motivate people and avoid complacency when you rack up win after win.

Some officials struggle with just having two cards. It’s ridiculous for all the reasons stated so far, but I will be the first to shout for it when we can benefit - if there is a foul against us or dissent or whatever it’s introduced for. It all smacks of people in the game wanting to make their own mark on it. Pretty needless.

Sadly I don’t think £60k is even an unreasonable guess for Choudhury. Average Championship salary’s at the top end are £30-40k I think.

Daka has really improved his all round game this season, particularly the stuff outside the box. Case for him staying I’d say.

After 10+ pints I’ve just remembered that someone tried to put a banner over a concourse sign i was sat above saying something like “football the Enzo way”. Anyway, it was taken down by stewards - I think because it was drooped over a sponsorship sign. Good effort. Shame about the over zealous stewards!
