It’s difficult isn’t it. Most ex footballers have the charisma of a wooden plank. There are very few who fit the criteria of being a club legend and who are engaging with a mic. I reckon Fuchs would have been good, but no chance of him doing it. Maybe Muzzy, still lives local and has done media and isn’t camera shy. I doubt he’d want it though. Maybe a high(ish) profile fan is a good shout. Perhaps that DJ willy puller bloke, whatever his name is… Geoff Peters? Manish?

The defensive side to his game is really strong as well. He’ll be worth a shed load with the right development. The way he was at the West Brom game and tonight you do get the sense it’s coming to an end. Just going from behaviour and body language. It can’t be though, he’s still got a year left at whatever level. I’d like to think he wouldn’t hold the club to ransom either and take reduced terms.

Did not see this coming, not even at half time or most of the second half. But everyone has been disciplined and brilliant to a man. Really delivered in the big moment. Absolutely superb. Southampton have been poor, but we’ve made them look poor.

What old man is going on his own tonight and forgot his season ticket. Has anyone done this before? If so, is there a procedure to follow, like going to the office and proving ID or something?

I get you - but you can literally identify moments of incompetence from the officials that may cost us. We’d be promoted by now had we had a stonewall pen at Ipswich given (to go 2 up) and Daka’s goal given at Leeds (to go 2 up). I’m sure all teams could point out things like this, but having incompetent officials in those instances could set us back 5-10 years imo.

I’ve literally turned it on again and Leeds have just scored. I think that means I’m a Jonah
