  1. Not a free kick, offside and no one marking. The holy trinity
  2. I think they’ll do us tonight by at least a couple of goals
  3. I think I agree. We need experience and leadership wherever we can get it as we are short of that in so many ways - odd given the profile and experience of some in the squad.
  4. This is very interesting… correlation or causation? But is the potential implication that he clogs up the midfield and makes us more robust?
  5. Other than references to Skippy the bush kangaroo?
  6. Even Patson in one of his better games where he scores a good goal will carve out an opportunity to miss an absolute sitter.
  7. If he does well surely he’ll end up here one day. Can imagine him being a really good man manager and obviously a fan favourite.
  8. Wasn’t he already living in London?
  9. Also letting Kasper go was a huge mistake. He’d still get in our side now at 39, and one of few genuine leaders we had.
  10. I think the clubs biggest defence is that they didn’t go out to cheat (like some clearly have done) but they’re just really incompetent and got signing after signing spectacularly wrong. We actually tried to adhere and fit within the rules (the windows where we didn’t buy and really needed to) and prior incompetency meant we’ve effectively punished ourselves. Have we benefited from pushing the boundaries or breaking the PSR rules? If the answer is no, how can it be morally right to punish us further for just being really really inept?
  11. Makes me think the announcement the other day was done to get some positivity before this inevitable negative news. Also will we be the only club to get a PSR sanction that didn’t benefit from it as such? In so much as that we managed to spend loads but got worse 🤣
  12. Money doesn’t grow on trees pal!
  13. Exactly. The fact he’s doing this now and has let it get to this point is all the proof we need - he’s not fit to run our club. Really odd that some have continued to give him the benefit of the doubt because of who his dad was.
  14. It’s ok I seem to recall the competition in that area is strong. Oh crap…
  15. Like Rodger’s with Puel, Rudkin profited hugely in his role by what previous people had done. I think Rudkin became DoF in 2015, so he literally had had bog all to do with the title win in that role. The structures had been in place for years. We did have a period where we had quite a good years after that, but if his role sees benefits in the long term those good years were perhaps not all down to him (and more to do with the structures put in place when he came in). Fast forward to now when he’s been in the role 10 years, look what has happened. He’s squandered the best situation and footing the club had ever been on, at a time when it was the most lucrative to be taking advantage of being a top side. We’re now a basket case - that’s his legacy.
  16. Organisations are full of people who stick around and are over promoted because they know the place and are supposed to be a “safe pair of hands”. If you look at his path at the club that is him. Started off as a volunteer coach… Very rarely works imo as organisations need new ideas which you don’t often get from lifers.
  17. On the subject of transfer windows, I’d love to know what was discussed in the summer Enzo left. We’d have been better off on the pitch and financially if we had just kept the same squad that got us promoted (though obviously replacing KDH). But in true Rudkin-KP style we got lumbered with yet more deadwood on the wrong side of 30.
  18. Exactly. You’d think he might throw the towel in given how his work has hardly born fruit, and even more baffling when large sections of the fan base are trying to hound you out and some are calling for him to die ffs. He can’t enjoy going to work anymore, or like you said even living in the local area must be a chore. I wonder how far away he is from having hired protection around the clock, or is he at the point wearing hoodies/caps and keeping his head down.
  19. It’s not just Rudkin now. If you can’t see that KP are done here and are done as a serious organisation capable of leading a football club then you are also part of the problem.
  20. But we haven’t now have we?!
  21. Quite unbelievable that a club who’s just got relegated from the PL haven’t got a semi-competent striker in the Championship. Absolutely baffling incompetence.
  22. Well well well. A bit of quality…
  23. Well done Bobby and Daka the assist machine 🤣
  24. It’s like we’re playing without a striker. Oh yea we basically are.
  25. Vestergaard didn’t even try and get a block in there. They just don’t give a ****
