Manchester United again exploit fans loyalty
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
My mate has got me access to the Treble Lounge corporate fine dining and all you drink champagne from 5pm. I’ll get really pissed and probably not enjoy it as much as I would had I paid £50, but it’ll be an experience. But that’s what football is being increasingly aimed at - those looking for an experience. The occasional fan, the tourist or the super rich. It all just feeds into being ever more disconnected from football. It’s all bullshit and a far cry from when I was introduced to double decker in 91-92. I read recently that Villa have recently done away with 2k season tickets so they can exploit tourist prices. Perhaps you wouldn’t mind as much if the PL shared the wealth down the pyramid but they don’t even do that. It’s all money grabbing and less about nurturing our national game. I realise the irony of me saying this btw given what I’ve said at the beginning. -
You beat me to it!
-
Oh stop it you tease
-
What is annoying on this subject is that we had a great chance of putting them down. Maddison scores that penalty and we go 3-1 up at half time sends them down and keeps us up. If we don’t waste 2 winnable games on the estate agents (Sadler & Stowell) we stay up. I wish I hadn’t thought about that because it’s made me angry!
-
I think a lot of us have lost hope, so therefore it can’t kill you!
-
My concern is that Top has clearly not learnt from the last relegation. That is too alarming to ignore and I don’t believe he’s a strong enough and shrewd enough person to run a PL football club. He’s taken us from being a model club to a joke club. Maybe if he puts structures and good people in place he can turn it around, but I’m not sure he can do that or will. We also need fresh ideas much like we got when Vichai came in. He built a successful empire and his culture, strength and business acumen saw us achieve great things. Top is only his son. We have seen nothing to suggest he’s anything like his father. I think he should sell up.
-
Assuming that this is a permanent deal it’s very good news that it looks like we are draining the swamp, but given his wages that are well publicised as being high (£70k?), I find it really surprising that we’ve managed to offload him🤞to a Championship side. Unless we are doing a Leeds/Portsmouth and paying a chunk of his wage I’d struggle to see how this would go through. Given how badly we are run this would not surprise me. The other possibility is that he’s had an epiphany and realised what he’s actually worth, but I doubt it somehow.

Caleb announces on instagram FAKE NEWS
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to Fox forever's topic in Leicester City Forum
We’re just a shit episode of EastEnders aren’t we? They’ll get Barry in to sing at half time next. -
This bloke is a total tosser. We’re now supposed to forgive a lack of leadership and strategy then? This will only strengthen the resolve among those of us who want meaningful change.
-
Haha I thought it was recent. As Pearson would say, he must be an ostrich.
-
Where is this from? Did he not learn the last time? Clearly the answer is no and is not fit to run us. All of the issues absolutely wreak of a lack of strong leadership at the Top. Something you absolutely couldn’t level at his father.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I feel sorry for Ruud to be honest, and at least he has high standards that clearly aren’t being met by many of those around him. -
Nasser Djiga - Centre-Back from Red Star
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to bosnianfox1884's topic in Transfer Talk
Haha this would be typical wouldn’t it. Sign him and not playing him until we’re in the EFL and we’ve been slapped with an embargo and a points deduction. -
Maybe everyone get a clapper and at half time go pitch side and lob it onto the pitch?
-
Maybe. But interesting you’ve picked up on accountability. Clearly an issue with Rudkin and his dealings as well. So a culture of no accountability - just the ticket for success.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Spurs will wipe the floor with us, and that’s saying something as they’ve got the whole Maddisonesque character problems running through their team like we did a few years ago. -
I think the training ground is also part of the problem. I heard Albrighton say that they got treated too nicely and had a false sense of security. Players arrive here usually with something to prove in the game, and they see the training ground and they must think they’ve already made it. They’re being overpaid as well which doesn’t help. All leads to complacency imo.

Clearly the lied to/shitshow option is better for him surely? -

Haha maybe a way for Ruud to jump before we sink, but also surely this must stiffen the fans resistance to the calamitous strategic decision-making at the club that is a dead weight around our necks. -
The club need to be really careful here. Now I’m not suggesting that what the supporter did is correct, but the club need to be really clear where their line is. I donated to this, and did wonder whether it was worth hiding my name. Part of me does wonder whether someone trawls through twitter and stuff like this and puts a black mark if they can identify people who are critical of the regime. But maybe I’m just being paranoid.

I witnessed quite heated arguments at the Fulham game. So I think it already has or certainly the fuse has been lit.

How significant was the loss of Kasper Schmeichel?
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to Pliskin's topic in Leicester City Forum
100%. It’s probably the one transfer you could pin a lot of the decline on. Another colossal decision the club got wrong. He was that important I think it was a strategic decision gone wrong. We would have stayed up easily if he had stayed. We may have even stayed up if we had replaced him - but we didn’t either. Beyond belief. I should imagine the decision to not replace him was driven by saving on a wage and a fee and thinking Ward will be ok. Goalkeepers have a foundational role in the team, and having a strong one often is difference between being an ok team and a good team. My personal view on Ward is that he has got ability in him, but he has no bottle or temperament and therefore can’t handle PL games. He’s often perfectly ok against the likes of Walsall and smaller sides. That people within the club did not grasp what he brought to the club in terms of leadership as well is baffling. We’ve really struggled with leadership ever since. I’d love to know if getting rid of him was partly motivated by how strong a character he was. Maybe the likes of Rudkin etc didn’t like that, particularly if Kasper may have been challenging their decisions? Don’t know, but you could see it. -
United Away (Friday 7th)
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to tomrichardslcfc's topic in Ticket News and Travel
I refuse to pay those prices, but through a friend I have secured corporate tickets at no charge to me. I will try and consume as much champagne as possible to make up for money that our fans pay.
