Wilber's photo is very eye pleasing - I like taking photos from airplane windows. Got a couple of great ones when I was on a sea plane in scotland last year:

Great photos Nath - what are you using to edit the colour? Looks very sharp. I just got a mac so may invest in some image software. Any reccommendations?

took the Nikon out last night as it is so nice down by the dock where I live. Got some good photos but the best of them are as follows:

Yes, fantastic film. Last night I watched the Hitchcock classic - North By Northwest. An old film but a fantasic chase and great ending. Saw Gran Torino at the cinema at the weekend also. Clint at his very best - superb film. I only hope it is not his last.

Hilarious here in London: All buses cancelled. All tube lines have severe delays - even the ones which don't go above ground! Pathways are ungritted even though they knew this was coming I'm sat in an empty office now as I walked to work this morning. Should have stayed in bed...

Thanks, she's going to re appeal on the basis that the judge openly admitted she didn't know the rules of the points based system and made several mistakes on the letter we received. Our local MP is George Galloway... tempted to get him involved too, would be interesting to meet him also. Not a huge fan but he is a big name. Seriously the situation is an absolute joke, she has been denied a visa that she is 100% eligible for.

She is going to reapply from the states so I won't get to see her for a few months and it puts her about a grand out of pocket. It was the appeal that was denied, the original decision was bollocks. She had the credentials for a Graduate Visa, but was forced to apply before her results because her Student visa would have run out. Apparently that invalidates the application (Even though we proved that she got the degree). Makes me embarrased to be a citizen of this stinking mess of a country, and I mean that.

Oh and Idlewild will be doing a full UK tour later this year so I'm hoping to catch that. Andy Mckee is also playing Union Chapel in May so I will be getting tickets for that shortly. Not bothered with any festivals this year really. I will keep my eye out to see if Dave Matthews comes over for a one off gig, but I doubt he will.
