Be funny if 2 points would have been enough … -
Officially a cable fault The blood supply Co earlier last week was possibly a Russian hacking group (could be based in quite a few countries !) I would have thought that if Russia could induce a power failure at an airport, they’d choose Heathrow for biggest kudos

Correct - non staff asset sales inadmissible on efl psr. You still have to justify a sale in PL psr. Chelsea owned a hotel in Chelsea. It worth a fortune on the basis of the land alone. I assume that the value of seagrave is in the books at full cost which is then reduced by a percentage, year on year based on the cost of the building rather than the land. Im sure if we had an allowable asset we’d have used it. we had an opportunity last June to inflate Maddison/winks values by another 10/15m but we didn’t I believe that’s due to spurs being too close to Paratici when he was banned by fifa - I believe some of the things he was found guilty of was movement of players to/from juve for inflated fees to help ffp. Levy didn’t want to get into this so soon after paratici left. -

We can do that but unless it’s value has increased markedly, there’s no notable benefit Chelsea are able to exploit the huge increase in value of land in the area of Stamford bridge over the past twenty years. It’s the increase in value that bolsters the bottom line, not just the sale. That would be pretty negligible if we sold seagrave. The Chelsea training ground may not be of much use unless there are no planning restrictions on house building in that part of cobham. I suspect there mustn’t be or they wouldn’t have bothered. -

They sold the hotel to another group Co the generate additional 80m income. That sorts out 22/23. They made some sales last summer to help 23/24. In addition they’ve sold the training ground for 23/24. - not clear until they file the accounts what the nett gain was on that deal. The sales of academy players this month will sort out 23/24. The can is then kicked down the road to 24/25. -

Because debt is not considered a problem in business. It only becomes a problem if income is insufficient to cover the interest payments. And Man Utd generate more than enough income to cover that. Lots of companies carry debt when they dont actually need to - they’d rather use the cashflow for other things that generate more income than the saving to be made by reducing the interest payments. united are somewhere in the middle - the owners generated a lot of the debt to buy the club. That debt is around £500m. The other 3/400m is revolving debt around running a football club. -
can we comment on responsibility for what’s happened at our club over the past few years? we have no idea who cautioned against what and whether they were simply outvoted by the ownership OR whether the owners allowed these charged with running the club to do so without effective controls (In hindsight). Or maybe a combination of the two. we can see the consequences but we don’t know where responsibility lies.

I just had to caution my 13 y o about the jay slater story he began to tell me about a vehicle that had been seen blah blah blah. ‘Yes it seems odd’, I agreed, but then advised him that nothing he’s read on SM needs to be true or false - there is no accountability whatsoever. I told him he shouldn’t be wasting his time looking at the story. social media again I’m afraid - I will say that some of the facebook stuff I’ve seen is hilarious - trouble is I can’t say whether those responsible are genuine or taking the pee. That’s how low the bar is in this country for intelligence.

Financial input from owners is restricted to a maximum per season - also ref the rolling three year loss limit (we are now at 83 allowed ) That £105m is caveated by the fact that £90m must be covered by "secure funding" from a club's owners. Secure funding is a fancy way of saying "buying up more shares", rather than an owner simply lending their club money. That means a club can only lose £15m of its "own" money every three years. In other words - any loss above £15m but below £105m has to be guaranteed by club owners. If it isn't, or you go above that £105m limit, you are in breach of the rules. -

That wouldn’t help out psr situation unless they were going to pay a fortune for either player -

Impossible decision to make given that the on field call was offside I’m ok with it being stuck with probably needed making faster though in general, if a goal goes ‘through’ a player in an offside position it usually gets chalked off. Whether the keeper is going to save it or not doesn’t usually matter in law -
Clearly issues with maresca go back some time and we had covered our bases by sounding out potential replacements

I assume we’ll also be struggling for 24/25 on the three year rolling basis (has to be below around £85m ) perhaps we have decided to go all in on the efl breach 23/24 because if we manage to stay up then the EFL sanction will be financial - they could actually opt to place a deferred points deduction in conjunction with a lower fine if we’re struggling. kicking the can down the road may be seen as being a better policy as the rules might change. -

You want to watch Enzo ball watch England.
st albans fox replied to sylofox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Very confused by this thread similarities are that there were eleven players on the pitch for England and enzo also had eleven players if you’re making the point that Southgate didn’t change things enough when they weren’t working then I’m not sure that even works cos he did - just got it wrong again pickford can’t play enzo ball - not good enough with his feet and panics when under any kind of pressure. If the keeper can’t do it then enzo ball doesn’t exist -

glass half full We’re not going to win this (or any tournament ) with this coach at least performances like this mean even if we struggle through to the semis, Gareth is done
