Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

we can afford to buy. But we also do need to sell. I doubt we’ll wait though. I reckon we will try and take in 30-40m profit. I would expect us to spend around 40/50m -
Presumably Everton need him to replace onana (who they will sell if they can get a replacement) they do realise he isn’t as good ???

Villa have apparently done enough to meet psr for 23/34 they will almost certainly need to sell again next spring to meet 24/25 -
It’s quite an important part of this at what point did the NHS realise it had way too much stock and what did they do to try and sell the overstock to countries that needed it ? My guess is that they just moved it into storage and had no contacts to find a home for it. The stuff had a 2/3 year shelf life so it needed dealing with urgently.

They’ll be selling players too mostly into next seasons accounts just because they’ve exceeded psr before doesn’t mean they can’t spend anything same for us it’s not a straight transfer fees in and out scenario I reckon they will fail for the season ending this June which will cost them a couple points and then they will probably pass next season -

It’s astonishing However, this particular company was actually a functioning PPE supplier pre covid and I can fully understand giving them big contracts in 2020. (Assuming they could justify the prices being charged against what they were paying). but many of the other ones handed out to ‘Tory donors’/mates meant that lots of the PPE ordered ‘correctly’ wasn’t required. we should also recognise that in 2020, lots of PPE was ordered because we were massively ill prepared and no one had a clue how long the pandemic would last etc etc - the speed of the vaccine meant we didn’t need anything like the volumes of PPE that we could have done. But there was little structure applied to what volumes were actually being ordered and delivery scheduling.

Some of you may be wondering why I’m babbling on about Israel/hezbollah here’s a US general’s thoughts According to General Brown, Iran is increasingly inclined to enter into a direct war against Israel in the event that Tehran feels that Hezbollah is under a real threat • Report: Alfi Militia fighters will arrive in Lebanon in the event of an all-out war. General Brown, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the US Army, said that the chances are increasing that Iran will choose to enter into a direct war with Israel in the event of a war between the IDF and Hezbollah. I’d also throw this in - it seems the the Biden administration has been holding back on arms exports to Israel for various reasons. We understand the Gaza scenario - they want a ceasefire there and that makes sense to them. If Israel don’t have the conventional weapons to take on hezbollah in Lebanon then they would have to use non conventional - I don’t mean nuclear btw. But evidently there is stuff that we’ve not seen used in the theatre of war (at this point in time). Israel very much views hezbollah as being the biggest existential threat to itself in the region. They won’t just continue to take in a couple dozen rockets/missiles each day with 70k displaced residents ad infinitum. so the stakes in the north are very high indeed - it just feels like we are in a holding pattern awaiting news on which way the us election will go before big calls are made. But Israel won’t wait that long before properly attacking in s Lebanon. (Rather than reprisal strikes which are ongoing)

Strangely caught between two stools they didn’t really go for the second and then were pinned back for long periods and then in added time they didn’t take it into the corners to see out some time -
Winks a better 6 than paulinha ? Mads is untested at PL level. Leno is a v good keeper if we can take momentum from promotion into the season then yes, we could be fine. But then there’s the points deduction to take into account, sadly this season will be way tougher in the PL than last in the relegation area
-
I don’t think it currently is re forest, Brentford and Fulham we’ll find out in two months!
-
what percentage of them do you think are genuine ? some of them are way too nuts not to parodies
-
We have problems next season aswell i have a feeling that we'll put all our incomings into next season to reduce the amount we break psr by when we are charged again by the PL. our EFL break will be record breaking!!!!!

Premier league clubs to vote on scrapping VAR
st albans fox replied to David Hankey's topic in Leicester City Forum
To those of you thinking that the semi automatic offsides in the euros are great because of their speed, I have bad news if you expect the PL to now be the same. the in ball chip used to identify exactly when the ball is kicked and freeze the play is adidas patented. hence the PL will still require the var in stockley park to ‘manually’ freeze the play before the auto technology can deliver a ‘picture’ to show if offside. We’re losing the lines which will obviously save some time but it won’t be as quick as we’ve seen in Germany. more concerning is that we are back to toe nail offside calls which were dumped because of this manual freeze framing of the play - you couldn’t be sure exactly when the ball was kicked so it was decided that if the lines were too close then wouldn’t be offside. We will undoubtedly now have erroneous calls made because it’s impossible to freeze the frame at exactly the right time. of course we won’t see that because we accept the frame is frozen correctly. -
