I thought the Ukrainians built their own drones and I’d be interested to know how the uk govt would provide export licences for drones to the Middle East (specifically one country) as they can hardly be described as being for defensive purposes and they’re on record as saying they won’t provide equipment that could be used to attack civilians. I don’t understand how it can be this season for the appeal reason unless the sanction is effectively irrelevant by the time it’s applied because it doesn’t relegate them. If a 1 point deduction would relegate them then it wouldn’t be applied until next season to avoid the issue.

We can’t believe anything either side says however, the USA’s obvious desire not to return to fighting is seen in the Middle East cultures as weakness and Iran will exploit that by trying to grab the agenda on talks. even if they are hurting v badly, they will try not to show it and attempt to take some control. One of the biggest problems in sorting this out is that neither side is capable of agreeing an ending without being able to declare victory. Most western nations would be happy to take the actual win in consequences and lose the media win.
